You have a bit of inside knowledge have you heard anything about unrest among the playersOf course he did. It was made abundantly clear to him that he was barely going to play under FH.

It’s no different to the inside knowledge the other guy had. But I’m pretty sure mine came from an article Naylor wrote. You have a bit of inside knowledge have you heard anything about unrest among the players
To be fair to Sami he never lost 7-0The grim home performances v Saints, Everton, Palace, Ipswich and Brentford are head scratching and mounting up (potter, Hughton, and even RDZ all had plenty of them tho) -. But FAB has plenty in the bank given Man Utd x 2 , City, Villa, Arsenal, Spurs, Newcastle and Bournemouth. And he’s had to grapple with injuries.
To suggest it’s anything close to Sami as a bump is really stretching it. We’re 9th !
EDIT - Jack says a bit later on that he was over egging it a bit bringing Sami into it. Its just a "minor bump" and he's pleased with FAB so far.
He said publicly in a press conference.Q 'Would you have done anything different with hindsight?'
A 'No..there were reasons for picking the team I did, and some of those reasons are not for the public.'
Think he was taken off as he was on a booking.I agree. There’s always an element of the players being at fault, but after his selection and 7 goals without reply, the manager has to take the blame.
I wouldn’t have taken Hinsh off. He was having a torrid time because he was alone. Made it look like he had failed.
I made a comment after the United game that the new guy who joined last month had helped make a difference. Since then its gone pear shapedManager out of his depth
Manager that has quite clearly lost the dressing room
A set piece coach who is an absolute clown
But….
Our recruitment this summer was shocking, how an earth we haven’t recruited defensively is beyond me.
Dunk, Lamptey and Veltman should be nowhere near our starting XI
But the biggest question mark has to be around our injury list and what the hell the management and medical team are playing at behind the scenes.
Training methods?
Fitness data?
Recruitment?
Something just doesn’t sit right.
Is it the new bloke who's really strict I wonder ?I made a comment after the United game that the new guy who joined last month had helped make a difference. Since then its gone pear shaped
Yes, that comment can be taken out of context. It sounds either cocky or just confident that he has the ability to get though adversity?Post match comments really hammered home that he’s just incompetent and way out of his depth. Especially the “ don’t worry about me I can pick myself up” comment
Pick yourself up and throw yourself out the door then!
Bournemouth, Spurs, Brentford have had similar injured number of players this season. Same questions of their training, fitness data, recruitment?Manager out of his depth

That was a factor, but he would not have been expected to play the full 90, so made sense to make the change at half time with the other changes required.Think he was taken off as he was on a booking.
Agree. I think yesterday was the beginning of the end for him.Talented players going on loan, current first team look abject and devoid of all motivation for the manager, no quality incomings to support, players going down with “slight injuries” left right and centre
Probably the worst look for a manager to have.
Times ticking……..
He would have us organised at the very least, thus giving us chances to win games.Agree. I think yesterday was the beginning of the end for him.
Out of his depth
I had concerns at the start of the season about the lack of his ‘style of play’, but felt that it would come in time. I’m still unable to define it.
Yesterday things came apart as the players were simply confused by his lack of plan. Yes, individual errors but this happens more frequently when players arent drilled on what is needed.
I go back to the first game of the season v Everton. Yes, I know we won but;
First 20 minutes we were a shambles. When Minteh got his ‘head injury’ the level of panic shown on the bench by FH was a joke. It was like a schoolboy team being managed by a Dad. I put it down to nerves on his debut at this level.
I’ve wanted to take to him and his style of play. I’m usually overly positive about our managers and was sad that Hughton, Potter and RDZ left. I’m now getting to the stage already with this guy that I want him to leave.
For what it’s worth, I think Liam Rosenior would be a great replacement. Calm, cerebral and a real strength in player development. Plus we all know what a leader he is ( Sheffield Wednesday away).
That’s far too reasonable a post to be on NSC.I'm stunned by some of the responses here, even for a football forum. Only two weeks ago Albion completed three away wins in a week. They currently sit three points off potential European places. But it is Europe which has perhaps altered some folk's mindsets.
In the second half of last season, Albion performed at relegation levels. In fact, only the three teams that dropped were worse. That was our starting point for this season. Europe cannot be used as an excuse, there were only two matches in that time.
So Albion started this season in need of urgent improvement. They sit 17 points above the relegation places and in no danger. It has been a topsy turvy year, but a safe one. They are back close to where they were. This with effectively a new team and a new manager. So, despite today's drubbing, there is no need to make any drastic changes when everything is considered in a sober light.
The amount spent on new signings is very much a red herring. It was an affordable overhaul that was needed. But it means a lot of changes. The most likely outcome this season was comfortable consolidation and hopefully a punt at Europe. That is what has happened.
As for Fab. I don't know if he is a long term option or not. But I certainly wouldn't be pulling the plug when there is no need to. Unless there were serious internal issues. Some have suggested there are. But as you would expect, in the most Trumpian way. There is no evidence of this at all.
Today was a heavy defeat. These things happen every blue moon. The best folk can do is go back to their knitting or the latest binge watch and forget about it. I'm going to watch the rugby now, so I guess there will be no solace there. But I don't think there is any terminal decline, until there is. And, even if there was, Albion are safe this season. But talking of declines seems a bit silly to me now given the events of a couple of weeks back. Perspective.
A few weeks ago - we beat United, held our own v Arsenal, had a routine away win v Ipswich, thrashed Norwich so lets not get too carried away. We didn't look abject then, we didn't look devoid of motivation at all.Talented players going on loan, current first team look abject and devoid of all motivation for the manager, no quality incomings to support, players going down with “slight injuries” left right and centre

I’m probably a little bit more tilted towards Fabian Out, but there’s a lot I agree with here. I think however, no win in the next three and the sharks will be circling. I don’t think sacking him solves all our problems either. I think what concerns me most is a lot of players seemed to have regressed under him, barring Welbeck and Baleba.A few weeks ago - we beat United, held our own v Arsenal, had a routine away win v Ipswich, thrashed Norwich so lets not get too carried away. Yesterday was embarrassing , hopefully a one off, and often teams react well to these types of defeats. Some of the selection, tactics sometimes look naive (eg: Chelsea, yesterday), the surrenders at Leicester, Wolves and failure to beat Ipswich and Saints at home. . But sometimes the tactical changes/subs are inspired and help win games (eg: Spurs, Man City, United) and there's some resilience there too (Villa again - just a few weeks ago)
Yes. Talented , young players are going on loan - for their development. That's the model. He's certainly had quality incomings both last window and this window . Gomez and Cashin look promising. And fine . If he's prepared to be tough when it comes to discipline i don't mind that.
There's certainly nothing in post match interviews or social media posts to indicate anything is afoot. Dunk downwards - the players took it on the chin yesterday and took responsibility. As did he. The confected fuss over whether he came over to the away end or not is exactly that a confected fuss (he was there , he doesn' t normally do that win or lose, and apologised fully minutes later to the fans in the post match interviews) .
But agreed. The clock is ticking. However unfairly - We all expect a bit more now.
