Rutter looks quite good and Ferdi when he’s fit.

I don’t think anyone else so far looks particularly good but that’s not to say they can’t improve or develop. Nobody yet looks much like they are worth what we have paid for them.

Minteh has lots to like and lots not to. Quick, exciting, hard working and willing to track back. Wants to score. Also has a first touch of a Dog and Duck centre back and the decision making skills of a honey badger.
:lolol:
Frustrating to watch today, seemed to want to dribble around 4 players when there is an easy pass to be made after beating one man.
Definitely works hard though.

Rutter looks like he might have something but the others look very poor

£ 200 000 000 not well spent

they all look very poor, not a lot of talent, recruitment failed badly here

Looks like £ 200 000 000 spaffed away to me. Bad choices

Many bad choices on players and manager

I think we heard you the first time!

So far....

Rutter looks decent.
Minteh might be given time
Wieffer is a sicknote. Once he rises from his sick bed, he may be (as Weir suggested) one of the best deep lying midfield players in Europe. Equally, he could very well be a huddy.
Kadioğlu. Looks like being a sicknote. He'll fit right in.
O'Riley looks too lightweight for this division.
Gruda might be a player. Might be.

Certainly haven't seen much return on the investment so far. Except for Rutter, I'd swap them for Groß and Gilmour.

IMO.

I’d swap half of them for Facundo being in the squad.

Only Georginio has shone so far, I guess injuries have played their part. Maybe next year will be better.

If Wieffer is the best of the bunch we are seriously f***ed 🤣

Actually I really like Minteh and Rutter. A better manager would make them star players.

Ferdi who knows. O’Riley looks a cause for concern. Gruda is the one with the youth get out clause. Can we have Yalcouye back, he would have got into yesterday’s garbage team

You just know we’ll get Yalcouye back in the summer and flog Baleba. Forever starting again.

Hard to make a call when most have been carrying injuries and we haven’t managed to get a settled midfield all season. Personally I am thinking the biggest problem is probably the rookie manager and injuries.
I have written this season off and a top ten finish will be OK (entitled ) and should be the target. I expect a humping in the Cup against Chelsea.

Halfway through the season and I feel we have gone backwards though. 90 minute performances are not happening either. is this because of injuries and team juggling or is it the manager? No idea.

In short the jury is out on the manager and the new players. Rutter and Minteh the only ones to show real promise.

Using my 'eye test' I'd say Minteh and Gruda are our competition winners and are both currently hopeless - complete waste of money

Rutter I like a lot

Wieffer will come good I reckon, as will our Turkish sicknote

Likewise - did so around Xmas when the injury situation got progressively worse

Said in my pre-season prediction we'd finish 12th, still think we'll be about there, top ten on current form would be impressive

Gruda and Minteh both players for the future. Gruda should 100% have been loaned before Enciso and Facu were

Georginio we can look at at as a modest success given the fee.

The rest, we can't really tell as we've barely seen them

O'Riley does look bang average, but seems to take a better corner than anyone else at least

O’Riley looks like a Currie or Harley to me.
IE a player who looks levels above at his level but bang average at a higher one.
