Rutter looks like he might have something but the others look very poor

£ 200 000 000 not well spent

They’re obviously talented, the only one I’m really underwhelmed by is so far O’Riley as he just looks totally lost, but there’s plenty of time to turn that around.

What’s concerning is why almost all of them have spent so long injured. Especially when we signed several of them when they already had injuries. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

And for having a recruitment model that is lauded across the footballing world, the decision making in relation to defensive recruitment really has been f***ing crap

O’Riley looks surprisingly lightweight. Silky, but lightweight.

Brilliant.

Judgement made on all of them based on 5 months at the club,

I’ll personally pass judgement this time next season.
5 months, that’s quite a bit of time for big bucks and being the PL. we are a very very patient bunch compared to bigger clubs. And besides, at places like Man U, Antony never got any better despite ‘giving him time.’ A duds a dud sometimes and most transfers don’t work out statistically so shouldn’t be afraid of making a call. I thought Locadia was shit from game 1, but some were prepared to die on that hill defending him and pleading for more time.

He does look a bit Charles Hawtrey when he skips along. . . . . . But if you're in the right place, at the right time .who cares . . .we beat Man City at home . . .

Rutter is great.
I actually think Weiffer is good too but no use if he’s never fit. Ferdi has great pedigree but needs to get fit. Minteh clearly a match winner on his day. Injuries are obviously a massive issue. The main concern is the balance and total lack of foresight for about the 5th window running.

Weiffer and Kadioglu perma injured.

Minteh has lots to like and lots not to. Quick, exciting, hard working and willing to track back. Wants to score. Also has a first touch of a Dog and Duck centre back and the decision making skills of a honey badger.

O'Riley is a walking testament to the shitness of Scottish football.

I love Georgino (and Rutter). An exciting player who plays with a smile on his face. But he’s not an 8 and definitely not a 6.

Gruder isn’t a winger and just runs into people.

Overall we are totally imbalanced with two young South American 10s out on loan because we’re so over stacked there and a defence that looks like it might concede at any point.
