Countless times. since the 60's....it simply doesn't faze me. When we're good, we're good, when we're bad. we do it in style....like today.
We'll still end up in the top 10 of the Prem this season - is that awful? :)
Today's performance is one of the worst I've ever seen in nearly 50yrs of watching this team given the level we are playing at. It's worse than the 5nil home to Bournemouth by some margin

Come on guys - it's only a game.

Need to pull our big boy pants up, have a few pints tonight and forget all about it. Never let a defeat (however large) ruin your weekend. Remember it's only a game.

If we end up mid-table I won't be too bothered.
Quite. All I'm doing now is racking my head to work out if this is the worst defeat in my history of following the Albion (1976-).

I think it may be. So it's a little moment of personal history.

Part way thru the second half we won the ball near our goal. Eighteen touches of the ball took us up the pitch and we had a shot on their goal - and missed.

A few minutes later they won the ball near their goal. Four touches later they had a shot on our goal and scored.

Just saying ……

Tony has made very few mistakes since taking over - sadly it looks like this was one gamble too far.

I don't blame him - life is a gamble and unfortunately he's got this one wrong.

I'm sure he'll be big enough to admit it and start considering his options.

I'd be interested to hear why that happened today, maybe all the players are ill or something like that, because it was almost too bad to be true.

We must suck up that complete and utter disaster; Nottingham Forest were as ruthless as I wish we were.

First we need to process it and then we need to move on very quickly or this could adversely affect us in the next few matches and beyond......

The 7 0 wasn't even an option on the Labrokes slip, there was not that much room

Yes. It is (in terms of goals).

Only two heavier - 9-0 v Middlesbrough (1958), 8-0 V Northampton (1966). And a wartime game v Norwich which doesn't really count.
