Looks like this has come via his agent...
He...."is not sure he has a long-term future at Brighton under Fabian Hurzeler. But he would prefer to make his decision in the summer rather than now.
Ferguson is aware that a decision may be taken out of his hands if Brighton accept an offer for a permanent deal..."
hedging his bets on FH being here next season?He...."is not sure he has a long-term future at Brighton under Fabian Hurzeler. But he would prefer to make his decision in the summer rather than now.
Then we'll do the exact same again in the Summer. Honestly, this is rinse-repeat weakening every transfer window is non-sustainable in the grand scheme of things on a footballing level. Just ask SouthamptonFrom the board's perspective, a bidding war with several desperate clubs involved, for a position that they all need urgent reinforcement in, with three and a half days to go is ideal.
From the team / fans perspective, it looks like we'll leave the January window weaker than we entered it.
hat-trick off the bench v. Forest tomorrow?
Not at all sure FH has a long-term future at Brighton. Needs a bit of reining-in before he bins off too many of our future stars. IMHO, lkeLooks like this has come via his agent...

I don't think FH is in charge of transfers anyway and he will certainly not be sacked quickly. Not at all sure FH has a long-term future at Brighton. Needs a bit of reigning-in before he bins off too many of our future stars. IMHO, lke
Yes, interesting.hedging his bets on FH being here next season?
Not convinced it’ll be his decision. Not at all sure FH has a long-term future at Brighton. Needs a bit of reining-in before he bins off too many of our future stars. IMHO, lke
I hadn't put 2 and 2 together, but Evan would be a brilliant signing for Forest.hat-trick off the bench v. Forest tomorrow?
Southampton never replaced like for like - they went bargain basement. We, on the other hand, have continued to unearth gems. Perfect example Bissouma - Caicedo - Baleba. Smart scouting, smart recruitment, smart strategy. Then we'll do the exact same again in the Summer. Because he's been injuredWhy isnt he in our U21 side banging them in for confidence and fitness?
£80m! Come on you forgot the Chelsea tax that has to be applied when dealing with that idiot Yank.Come on Chelsea! You know you want him.
£60m for the most promising striker in the Premier League. Come and get him.
(EVAN! Get down from that table now! You know how dodgy that ankle is.)
£40m Rutter £33m Minteh £30m Ferdi/MO isn’t exactly unearthing gems like Caicedo a £4m bargain. The gems are getting expensive.Southampton never replaced like for like - they went bargain basement. Are we relying on Welbeck staying fit if Ferguson moves on?So £40m will do it according to the reliable Guardian.

15 months we (including myself) thought he’d be another £100m plus sale by us eventually.
SORRY - CHAILEY BOT ALERT - We spent £200m in the last window. Have so far sold Moder, Peupion, Samuels and Barco this window. And we've bought in a few new teen wonder kids, the very promising Gomez , Cashin and perhaps a couple of signings that will kick in , in the summer. Ferguson is unlikely to be sold but lets see. Enciso and Buonaotte are loan players but still Brighton players - loanees do come back (Ask Mitoma, JPVH, Rushworth) . And that's it. (wait and see about Lamptey - Sky reporting that we want to keep him) . Is that really weakening the squad ?Then we'll do the exact same again in the Summer. Honestly, this is rinse-repeat weakening every transfer window is non-sustainable in the grand scheme of things on a footballing level. Just ask Southampton
