Think the U18 tickets are more overpriced than adult tickets personally, but overall not sure dropping the prices at all would have had much impact on attendance. I'm taking a Spuds-supporting mate along, he's amazed it's as low as £25.I said from the beginning that with the kick off time (and TV coverage) and that we are playing them in the league the following game, adult tickets IMO are overpriced.
I don't think it's far too big for us but I do think it's about right and doesn't need to be any bigger. We have exceptionally flakey support, the transport infrastructure wouldn't accommodate more supporters and virtually everyone who really wanted a ticket for almost every game at the moment can get one. I still can't quite believe the myriad of excuses on here but again, each to their own. Personally I'm really looking forward to it.I'm going. Driving there and back from Oxfordshire.
Looks like most of the people around me are going. I quite frankly don't care. It'd be great if everyone's there. I won't be losing any sleep if they aren't.
I've read the entire thread. Everyone has their reasons as to why they are or aren't going, which is fine.
However there's another issues which people are ignoring.
The current capacity of The Amex is FAR too big for us.
There's pockets of empty seats at pretty much every game. Even when the big dogs come to town it's the same. And it's just confined to the East Stand. I counted 10 empty seats just in my block in the North Stand on Saturday. There's visibly more in other areas of the stadium.
A mate of mine went to the Athens home game and was able to get a North Stand ticket on the exchange on the day of the match. This is the case for most matches, but it's striking when it was so easy to get one for one of our biggest games in recent history. We didn't sell out Palace ffs. I don't think Brentford sold out (correct me if I'm wrong). It's looking like we won't sell out the cup or league games against Chelsea. I'd imagine the same will be the case for the Bournemouth match as well. The Liverpool cup game had large parts of the West Upper cut off.
We all know the attendance figure read out in the second half is complete bollocks. I reckon we're averaging around 26 - 28k this season.
To me, it's little surprise the place will be half empty on 8th Feb. Our support really isn't as big as what some people try and make it out to be.

BlessWith the crowd looking to be smaller than usual the trains and park and ride shouldn’t be a problem.
Oh, you have done it now......With the crowd looking to be smaller than usual the trains and park and ride shouldn’t be a problem.
Oh, you have done it now......
Anyway, it will soon sell out and Chelsea will be all over the stadium
This is my fear, yesLots of new Albion members. Racist estate agents and scaffolders from Chertsey.
Had to be a member prior to the draw, unless the club see the possible ££££££ and open it like the Liverpool gameLots of new Albion members. Racist estate agents and scaffolders from Chertsey.
....about 7,500 unsold currently, so if Chelsea have sold out it's around 24k alreadyreckon we are looking at a crowd of less than 20,000 - with nearly 5,000 of them Chelsea
Now waiting for email saying upper tickets have been moved to one of the lower tiers ......................Looks like they’ve taken most of the tickets in the upper tiers off sale.
SnapPlanned a weekend away taking the chance that we wouldn’t have a home cup draw, otherwise would have gone.
Yep, should nice and quick getting served with food and dri...With the crowd looking to be smaller than usual the trains and park and ride shouldn’t be a problem.
Same, really looking forward to this one. Ignore the haters, they’ve got nothing better to do.Yep, I will be there with Mrs Freakout and Teenage Freakout, I got seats across the isle from my season ticket seat.
Can't wait, hopefully it will be a good game, extra time and penalties in front of the north stand, and back home in Elm Grove area by 11:30pm
What is not to like....
I bought two guest tickets in row 2 of ESU this morning almost half way line for a couple of friends and told them they would have an excellent view surely they won't ..............looks like they are leaving the first few rows for saleNow waiting for email saying upper tickets have been moved to one of the lower tiers ......................
