This. We played with pace and intensity for about 5 minutes at the start of each half, and then went back to facing 11 Everton players behind the ball and getting nowhere. Slowly.Start all guns blazing, moving the ball fast and getting that first goal. Look at Bournemouth, playing high intensity football from the off.
We play slow sluggish football between, JP, Dunk, Veltman on repeat and plays right into their hands. Niave tactics from Fab and I'm afraid, not starting Minteh and Georginio is totally bizarre.
I would happily do this, if I could have enough points without the ST.All the way back to the Potter era, the club should offer away ST’s. Other than passing home game joy under RDZ, the away day travellers relatively speaking have seen so many famous wins. Whilst the Amex has witnessed a catalogue of low block disappointment.
Are there any nsc’ers who just do regular away games?
One of the raison d'etres of VAR is to spot things that the ref misses - if something happens and the ref doesn't notice it, that is the very definition of a clear and obvious error! My understanding. heaven forbid, is that VAR should intervene on a clear and obvious onfield error ? In this instance the ref didn't give/see the alledged hand ball but gave a corner. How can VAR decide on something the ref hasn't seen ?
Wouldn’t bother with any of itJust woke up and read commentary, 16 shots, but only 1 on target !!!.
Playing in an Aussie Day bowls match this morning. Is it worth watching the game in the pm, or will extended highlights do ?
Extended highlights will be 3 mins max I'm afraid!Just woke up and read commentary, 16 shots, but only 1 on target !!!.

Which you were watching rather than watching the game, Big Man…?The amount of times the Everton players went down with injuries was incredible. The last time I saw someone lying on their back in Brighton moaning and groaning for 90 minutes was when watching Katie Price’s OnlyFans page.

B. Totally.Haven't seen the game so could someone tell me if it was:
A) an unlucky defeat
B) Another insipid, poor performance
C) Other
Essentially, should I bother watching a replay of it, or even the highlights?
That's disappointing. I was hoping it was A and we were robbed.B. Totally.
B - In fact it was one of the worst games Ive seen in a long time, The Albion didn't manage a shot on target in 98 minutes, whilst Everton on ly had their single shot on target by virtue of the ref giving them that pen. It was awful. Dreadful. If that is football now, Im done.Haven't seen the game so could someone tell me if it was:

And the only shot on target we had, was a blocked shot that gently looped up, forcing Pickford to knock it over the barB - In fact it was one of the worst games Ive seen in a long time, The Albion didn't manage a shot on target in 98 minutes, whilst Everton on ly had their single shot on target by virtue of the ref giving them that pen. And........Everton only had 10 left on pitch for last 18 mins cos they'd used their alloted subs and we still couldn't break them down. And the only shot on target we had, was a blocked shot that gently looped up, forcing Pickford to knock it over the bar
We are completely sussed and unless we get an early goal, visiting teams are all able to sit back and watch us pass the ball around two thirds of the pitch with zero goal threat. That's disappointing. I was hoping it was A and we were robbed.
So why don't we do away with onfield officials and let VAR make decisions ? The ref gave a corner, so why do VAR poke their nose in ? Could understand if he gave a pen and VAR got involved. One of the raison d'etres of VAR is to spot things that the ref misses - if something happens and the ref doesn't notice it, that is the very definition of a clear and obvious error!
