The more likely relationship is Paul Barber who was working with Nike UK (when they were known as umbro) at England I believe

Yes the 2013-14 kit was the first with American Express sponsorship and the last season we had Errea as a kit supplier.
In what way did the club get this wrong? This is a commercial deal that quite rightly the details are confidential. Ok some might not like the design, the fit, the frequency of change, the distribution model, etc, etc but to say the “club got this so wrong” is laughable.
Blimey, really? I think this year's one is the best for a long time, and I also much prefer white shorts.
Like music, comedy, beer, food, etc we've all got different tastes!
(Agree with you though about that other kit growing on me as the season went on. I hated that at first)

Gutted by this. Crap designs, with nothing bespoke. Must be another American company we can use?
