Does his latest dog whistle actually change anything though? A sex has always been recorded in the birth certificate hasn't it.

People have just realised that this doesn't exactly cover how people feel.

We haven't quite managed to sort all the details out of a change in mindset, apparently we need to reset all that progression in the name of beings ****s.

Another anti Trump thread with no basis. The sex of a child is determined at fertilisation/conception. Someone has read a wrong fact and posted it on here and you're all wailing about it. Dear oh dear.
Wait, you're a Trumper? I always had you down as one of the good guys. Admittedly I don't browse NSC so much anymore but I'm sure 10 years ago you were quite normal in your views?

Yes. Sex is chromosomes. Gender is hormones and the way the brain works.

The whole 'debate' about sex and gender and hairy-bollocked brickies in a dress in the Ladies' Toilet, flashing at Our Children, is completely f***ing idiotic.

It is just a opportunity for the 'anti-woke' to engage in a bit more bullying.
The ****s.
Yes, lot's of people still don't get the difference between biological sex and gender.

I don't agree that the whole debate is 'f***ing idiotic' (although I can see why a man would think that). I think it is a lot more nuanced than that with valid points on both sides.

Sorry, I meant the ranting by the transphobic is idiotic. The debate is nuanced but I think we have elaborated a workable solution already on this thread.

But nothing will satisfy the raving transphobes, however, and that's what I had in mind in terms of f***ing idiotic. They don't want an end to the 'debate' which is also f***ing idiotic. They want it to remain a stick with which to beat 'woke'.

Edit, looking back at my post, it was clear to what I was referring. It was not the wider issue.
I wrote "about sex and gender and hairy-bollocked brickies in a dress in the Ladies' Toilet, flashing at Our Children"
The 'outrage' manifested, so I recall, when a convicted scottish sex offender rebranded himself as a woman in order to facilitate pervery.
That has nothing to do with 'the debate' and yet it was made the exception that proves the rule for the anti-woke gammons.

It is the outliers - the predators and perverts - that are the reason why we have female only spaces.

I've joked before that we should just signpost the gents with a picture of a cock and balls, and the ladies with the same but in a circle and crossed through. But it really is that simple in the end, and reasonable males who aren't sexual predators happily accept that they can't go in those spaces so there can be no ambiguity about any male that is there.

I realise that this means that occasionally a fully transitioned person may get challenged about being in a female only space if they don't quite pass, but they should be well aware that that is something that may happen, and the reason why.

My work colleagues almost to a woman unanimously agreed that they wished the defenders of their safe spaces would fight so vigorously and passionately for the spaces where statistically they were more unsafe.

Changing rooms, trans people and toilets were not high on their list of places and people that need to be made safer.

Most agreed that spending more time online discussing ways teach our boys to respect women and hold our mates accountable for toxic attitudes towards women would be infinitely more valuable than banging on about trans people in women's changing rooms/toilets.

I would be interested in the thoughts of the women of NSC on this subject.

I suspect I agree with you.
I hadn't mentioned the fully-transitioned male to female TG person previously in my pontifications.
My view is one can hardly weave an anti-male-pervert narrative about someone with tits and a fanny.
Even if they were born with a cock and balls.
Innit.

That’s interesting.
Guess that’s these people’s game.
Worried about your safety late at night? Fearful of sexual assault, violence, being mugged?
Sick of being sexually harassed at work?
Don’t worry, we got you. We are banning gender neutral toilets.

If you are straight up about protecting women, it does seem a weird place to start/focus.

Banning gender neutral toilets is not in the Executive Order under discussion.

And, for clarity, the word toilet does not appear anywhere in the document. It does talk about single sex spaces, but makes no mention at all of communal ones.

Like a lot of women they're probably keeping their heads down whilst a load of men pontificate and 'mansplain' and say how they wouldn't be intimidated by a hairy-arsed brickie in a skirt. (I'm sure they wouldn't).
