Think Charlotte has made a mistake not going for Alexander IMHO, but hard to see how she doesn’t win from here unless she blows it

Huge fan in the task of Leanne being so utterly FURIOUS at being called “two-faced” when she’s literally an army sergeant pretending to be a nail technician
She’s an officer.

if I was Charlotte, I would’ve picked Alexander.

I think she thinks because he’s a student, she can manipulate him. I think it will backfire.

I'm not sure why he'd 100% take Charlotte down with him. Yes he'd know she had set him up, but then equally Charlotte becomes the key to his success.

Yes she is, but if I were him I'd point out that I'm not happy she's stitched me up, and she's either going to have to get the heat off me, or I'll return the favour. If she can save me, then I'm happy, but if not, I'm taking her down.

He could just try to convince everyone that maybe the traitors knew how it would look if they tried to murder Leanne. Don't forget, they could end up banishing more faithfuls from now on and nobody would know that was the case.

I wouldn't trust Charlotte to do that. She'd rather have it all than share it. I'd just make it clear that if she even mentioned she had a doubt about me, I'd make it clear she was a traitor. Charlotte has completely betrayed Freddie from the start, and she has a lot of making up to do if she doesn't want to be outed.

If Freddie convinces others that Leanne or Frankie were traitors playing a cunning double bluff, both he and Charlotte are sitting pretty, with Charlotte suddenly finding it in her interests to keep the second traitor alive in case they can bring the elimination to a halt early together.

Charlotte doesn't need to bring the elimination to a halt early though, because they all trust her and are never banishing her. Also, having an extra traitor doesn't help halt it, because it's not a majority decision - if one person says to vote again, then they vote again.

I think the organisers have learnt a lesson from the first series. I read that the participants have agreed to pay massive fines if they reveal any secrets. They won't have a repeat of that guy who dobbed his fellow in it.
From what I’ve read, the fines are for revealing anything outside of the programme. Minah said in Uncloaked, only her husband knew she was going on the programme, and when the series started she got her family round to view it.

I guess a lot depends on exactly when Leanne announces that she had the shield. If it is at the round table,
then I m not sure in the heat of the battle that anybody would have the presence of mind to put two and two
together.

Remember, in the final, nobody who is eliminated in the final game reveals if they are a Traitor or a Faithful. They don’t have a “there must be a Traitor still here” option open to them, they could in theory have voted the last Traitor out tomorrow (if Freddie said no and got murdered, then they voted Charlotte out tomorrow) and just be eliminating Faithfuls.

If Charlotte wants to go for the lot, there is still the final episode where the vote is steal or share. That could do for her.

There is also the super power to come. One person having two votes?

Yeah, but if the contestants have agreed to this, you can bet that they've agreed not to reveal traitors. The BBC have spent thousands and thousands on this programme, I can't see how they'd leave themselves hostage to fortune on something like this. It would be so easy to reveal a traitor's name (as we saw in the first series) and I don't think the BBC would leave it to chance.

I’m not convinced Freddie has it in him to take Charlotte down. He looked like a rabbit in the headlights up in the turret/tower/wherever they were.

Also, how can he “get her banished” within the rules of the game without either saying something you’re not allowed to say, or massively incriminating himself? I’m not sure I see what his play could be.

Nobody gets murdered, so start discussions about another recruitment. Freddie will realise that Leanne told people she had the shield, so he will then know he was stitched up.

I've come back home.

Alexander may figure it out as well. He knows (obviously) that he's a faithful but doesn't know Charlotte is (but there was a traitor in the room when Leanne said she has a shield) the only certainty is then Freddie. He could swing the remaining (Charlotte will go with him anyway) before Freddie gets the others to turn on Charlotte.

Freddie is f***ed.
If Leanne reveals who she told about the shield, any attempt to switch focus to Charlotte, will be seen as suspicious as he is one of two in the frame, for the majority, and the most likely for Alexander to pick.

I think it's most likely that Leanne won't let on until the round table, and the heat will be on Freddie & Alexander.
I suspect Charlotte will see Alexander as the bigger threat of the two and move to get him gone first.

Unless Freddie or Alexander get the superpower.

Leanne is the most irritating contestant left.
But I can see her being kept in because she is too self-absorbed to play the game strategically.

I read an article that suggests that the superpower is that one of the faithful is told who the traitors are but isn't allowed to reveal it to anyone else, and has to subtly hint at it. That sounds like defeating the object of the game to me.

I don't think it would defeat the object of the game.

I assume they will win the superpower in the next challenge.
Which means that a traitor could easily win the superpower.

Therefore the others won't necessarily trust whatever the superpower owner is saying.

One suggestion I’ve seen is a screen shot in the library, showing a book entitled The Seer. I think it means one person at the table is granted two votes.

The Seer would imply a higher level of insight.
My guess is one person can ask Claudia, the role of one other player.

If Charlotte gets that, it's game over.
She will last 2 rounds of elimination (probably Alexander and Freddie) at least.
