“Brexit was a mistake.”

Tony Parsons may have changed his mind but is still what he has been for 45 years.
A pound-shop polemicist.

Well the arrival of the isolationist felon in the White Horse has finally jolted the Lib Dems into realising we need to rejoin the custom union, we're mid-atlantic without a paddle

Labour need to get a grip if they're serious about growth

All the while the media wheels out Farage and gives him a free license to lie on question time and the rest, it will be difficult for Starmer to suggest anything creative about the EU and expect anything other than electoral wipe-out in 4 years if he back-tracks from the Great Exit.

The electorate is apparently engaged in a once-in-a-lifetime, no turning back commitment to Brexit, Growth and Lower Taxes.

And if all three are not delivered then they will jolly well vote for Nigel. And/or whoever replaces Badenough.

As always, the public gets the government it deserves.

Starmer could have promised less, but had he done so we would have been enjoying more of Sunak and his band of goggle-eyed shitlers.

("And anyway, Starmer promised little and has delivered nothing. Whereas Boris was amazing. He bought a breath of fresh air. We need that back").

I once saw someone refer to him as “Tony Parsehole” and now never refer to him as anything else

It’s also the easiest thing in the world for Brexiters to suddenly say “oh what a mistake it was”, they don’t risk losing the thing they actually wanted while getting supposed kudos for “seeing the light”. It only counts if it comes from people who would actually lose something tangible (such as power, money or influence) from admitting it (e.g. a senior current Tory frontbencher or one of the Reform MPs).

The Lib Dems have always been Remsin, now Rejoin. Lewes MP got a 10 minute Bill accepted last week for the reinstatement of the Youth Movement.
The press are only just reporting it
