Good for him , and all that.
Its just amazing he keeps getting opportunities at such a high level.
He hasn’t really achieved anything, ever.
Because in his limited game time with Hull, he scored 0.53 goals per 90 minutes. Clubs know he is capable of scoring 20 goals in the Championship and are willing to take the chance. But Millwall is last chance saloon for this time in the Championship. Hope he grabs the chance with both hands. Sunderland were a little too good.

Thinking about this more. I appreciate what you're saying but Millwall will be yet another making up the numbers/providing cover etc gig......just like Sunderland was. If I was his agent, as I have said before, last summer I'd have tried to find him a club who viewed him as a genuine squad/first team member. This would most likely be further down the food chain and lowering demands and expectations, swallowing pride etc. I guess agents are not interested in this as numerous deals like the new Millwall, regardless of whether he plays or not, are more financially rewarding. I just think he's wasting his career away. 18 goals in 8 years as a pro striker.......when does the penny drop?
I think he’s right to have one more go at that level personally. He’s still only 25, and if he doesn’t make it this time then I think the level of club he’ll go to next will be the same as if he made the decision you are talking about now.

This really is last chance saloon though, Crawley Town beckons if he can’t make it work at Millwall. And there really is no way back from that. Bang the goals in at Millwall for a couple of seasons and the route back to the Premier League is back open. It slams shut if he takes the route you suggest.

You don't actually get the PL2 Player of the Year award for achieving nothing; not just the Brighton PL2 player of the year, the whole of the PL2 player of the year.
True. It was a long time ago though And first team football is so different.
Maybe it was that brief purple patch at Hull that keeps them believing as some have suggested
As Generally Players with records like his are playing for Shamrock Rovers by now.
Whatever the case, I like AC. He’s funny and embraced the pro football trappings like many of us would have.
I hope he smashes it At Millwall and stays healthy and happy.

The guy helped us beat Spurs when beating Spurs was a thing. Really hope he kicks on.

Unused sub tonight, as Millwall throw away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at home to Cardiff, thanks to a 98th minute equaliser.
