What a load of nonsense. Gross is rightfully celebrated as probably our most important player in the PL era and we were all gutted when he left. Gross was only questioned when his form dropped, as is par for the course as a first team regular.
Moder is appreciated as a solid professional who had shocking luck with injuries, but is no longer at the level required. He's popular because people sympathise with him and he always behaved impeccably.
Good song, shit song had nothing to do with any of it.

I think it's often easier for the slightly older guys to be 'the model professional' due to their maturity and experiences. Jakub was one of those youngsters when he came to us who has always been the model professional and mature beyond their years (see AliMac, Dunky, Tariq, Wee Billy, Goodnight, Hinsh and Solly)

Always liked Moder but after his horrible injury was never part of the automatic starting eleven unless we were down on numbers through injuries or suspension when he was then called upon and despite any consistent run of games he always gave of his best .

A sad thread title update to do. I liked the guy a lot. When he came on at Forest with us defending a lead and Dunky in the early bath he was absolutely immense. That will remain one of my favourite days out and games of football and is how I want to remember his time here.
