In his victory rally speech last night Trump made a ton of promises. If there were any whacky promises he made during the election campaign that, with hindsight, he wished he hadn't then you'd never know. He doubled down on all of them, and added a few more for good measure.
Never has a leader set the bar so high before taking office.
The irony was not lost on me that minutes after saying he would kick the leftist woke people out of the military he was introducing The Village People, including the fella in army camouflage gear.
Other interesting bits of the speech was where he listed all the people he'd like to thank, mentioning a ton of people and his in-laws. Vice President JD Vance was near the end, receiving his name check just just before Hulk Hogan, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight.
And as for Elon Musk's "speech"...
