United ain't exactly good but they deservedly got a point at Liverpool, knocked Arsenal out the cup while playing with 10 men for an hour so they can show up. We didn't let them play today and outclassed them at times . Also, they may be pretty poor overall but they've got big money players who we've made look below average.

Poured myself a LARGE one and going to spent the next few very lovely hours on here celebrating, but also reading the entire Man Utd forum match thread (including the prediction and pre match threads) from COVER to COVER because of the SCHADENFREUDE of their reactions whenever we dare beat them.

THEN Goldbridge and Man Utd fan reactions on YouTube.

What an evening!
they are getting fast at pushing these out:

Just putting it out there but if the “Hürzeler-Out” brigade carry on talking us down and results keep going up we might just make Europe 🤣

Ref did everything he could to give United that but we showed great character in the second half.

Hopefully the start of a run.

Not a coincidence that we have Welbeck and Veltman consistently back in the side that we start picking up wins again.
I thought the ref had a really good game. He let the game go as much as anyone could, a huge number of physical challenges from us particularly in the first 30 minutes went unpunished, he wasn’t having any nonsense.

The goal was correctly ruled out.

It was a stone wall penalty - and perhaps lucky it took place in the box so it could only be a yellow, rather than the one just before outside the box which may have been a professional foul.

He had a good game and got all the major decisions right. Oh, and I’d have said this win, lose or draw.

BBC website:

Brighton goalscorer Georginio Rutter, speaking to Premier League Productions: "We are happy with three points today. It's good fans here [at Old Trafford], it's hard to play here but today we stayed calm and played with confidence."
Got to agree with that. They did that minute of silence like they've never done anything else.
