BBC website:

Brighton goalscorer Georginio Rutter, speaking to Premier League Productions: "We are happy with three points today. It's good fans here [at Old Trafford], it's hard to play here but today we stayed calm and played with confidence."

On being in good form: "I'm very happy but it's about the team, they help me to score every week. It can be hard when a new player comes and you're expected to score straight away but they have been patient with me."

On targeting a return to Europe: "The season is long and we have to keep going like this, taking it game by game and we'll see at the end."

Correct but surely it was violent conduct, ie stamping on a players foot? Can't even argue it was whilst going for the ball
Never giving a red for violent conduct for that. Joel does it five times a game  if he’d lifted his foot right up and stamped down hard then yes, but just treading on toes, you won’t see a red card given for that.

Fabian making me eat my words. Good on you Lad

So do you think:
a) we got lucky
b) the players have started to get a better understanding of what Fab wants, so it's working
a) Fab has realised the error of his ways and changed his tactics

Overall we were very good today.

Ok, the conceded goal is a bit blunderish but the Manchester player stealing that pass to Ayari had excellent timing in his run, its more a case of good pressure from United than a big mistake from us. Luckily they only do good things on the pitch a handful of times per game so wasn't end of the world.

Best thing today might be the boost in confidence for Mitoma and Minteh. Our wings haven't produced the amount of goals and assists they should have this season but this could be a real boost to them.

All the comments were about how poor Man Utd were. No appreciation that there were two teams on the pitch.
Always happens.
But, watching Goldbridge for lols and he’s making it sound it was as bad as
any performance this season. They were awful. No shots on target in open play.
I thought we were poor first half but second half was really impressive- you still have to beat these teams and that is often the problem for us.

I know this is going to sound selfish, but as someone who only really attends home games and hasn’t seen the last two away wins (no TnT), I’m going to reserve judgement until I see the improvement with my own eyes.

Fingers are so well and truly crossed though 🤞
