Yeh, he's obviously a good player. It's his breakout season, so he's going to improve and I believe he will be an international for many years.

He might want to rein in that aggression a little though. More focus on football, less on randomly charging into people I think will take him further, but i'm quite happy to put it down to the exuberance of youth this season.

Ipswich will go down. He'll go to somewhere mid to high in the league, but above us payscale wise

My guess is that it will take a couple of red cards for him to calm down, I thought he was rather lucky not to get a 2nd yellow last night. I think JPvH & Velts REALLY got to him and he was very close to a heads gone.

The way the pre match team were spuffing over him I was expecting Messi to turn up. Didn't do a lot, tried to be a bully but it didn't work, got put on his ass a few times by our Dutcheys and was then subbed.

Let’s see where we are in a few years with him. If I’m wrong then fine. I have just seen too many of these snarling aggressive strikers burst onto the scene and then get found out quickly for not having much actually skill.

Most teams are playing with 1 out and out CF these days.
He’s got pace and power and occupies both CB very well and has an eye for goal. He’s still very raw and his first though generally is to go forward with the ball. He will have a very good career at the highest level.
JPVH, Webster and dunk when he came on deserve a lot of credit for dealing with him very well and restricting him to a long range effort.

He certainly let our defence know they were in a match. They dealt with him very well.

He doesn’t go missing even when things aren’t going well.

Last night they were comparing him to Rooney - nothing like him! Rooney was excellent when he came into the game. I don’t like the guy but he was a hell of a player.
Agree with the above - he has a lot of development to make and a lot of listening to do. Hopefully he won’t believe all the hype but it must be tough for a youngster to deal with It all.

I think you might just be basing your opinion on one game.

He's going to be genuine international striker in years to come. Like our young players, at the moment he's inconsistent. Ipswich struggled to get anyone near him, so he didn't look effective. This season for him is about earning his move, to a Newcastle, Villa, Spurs type side. He will still need some time to learn his trade, he's very young, but then he'll take a bit of stopping.

He’s got loads of skill. Small example when he mugged off JPVH only for Veltman to then crunch him.

The aggression is just a small part of his game, and all top centre forwards have/need that (Fergie had it to start with but sadly it hasn’t been seen for a long time since).

Wasn't particularly good last night but overall a very good player from what I've seen.

Bullies defences, pace and power - he's only 21 (FFS) so I think a few are judging a bit too soon - has the potential to be a top striker IMO.

He's where we hoped Evan Ferguson might be at this stage in his career.
