He's awkward in a confrontation, I thought he sounded very Partridge on a couple of occasions whilst bantering with Kemi.

Play it back, it's there!

Inflation down today.

Can we have confirmation that that is nothing to do with the Government but when it goes up, it is?

The drop was driven by hotel prices falling and smaller rises in airfares than usual; and prices for cigarettes, pouches, vape refills and cigars, also increased at a slower pace.... HUZZAH!

Get him OUT. His banter game is WEAK. I mean, he's talked her in knots for weeks on end because she's entirely unfit for her role as opposition leader, but still won't anyone think of the banter?!

I see that my ignore portfolio has saved me from more vexatious nincompoops yet again, today.

And if the state of the nation (inflation, job creation, procrastination) is now entirely related to the price of vapes, I suspect that rumours of an economic melt down are not so much no smoke without fire, but not actually smoke . . . because its . . . a vape.

<sigh>

But....whatabout Jeremy Corbyn?

You seem surprised? It is generally caused by 'lower' prices. Great news for people who want a winter break, or some fags or a vape.

You have an ignore portfolio? Well I never knew that, you kept that quiet.

And my point was that if these are the drivers for the state of the economy then either we are on the brink of a catastrophe where a penny on a packet of Strepsils will drive the nation into a fit of lethal coughing, or the important dominants of our welfare are not presently impactful, and are therefore not threating our existence.

(In other words all the gleeful bed-shitting by Labour's opponents is hubris. Who knew?)

It’s a bit soon to be calling it Harry but a point ineloquently made nonetheless. 😊

I read this …. It was either in the media which can’t be trusted…or the social media which can’t be trusted so I doubt it’s true - especially given the 14 years of etc etc

Labour left office in 2010:
Unemployment 8%
Inflation 3.4%
Deficit 10.3% GDP

Conservatives left office 2024:
Unemployment 4.4%
Inflation 2.2%
Deficit 4.4%

I don’t know if those figures are true but it would seem today’s news on inflation at least means we are moving back towards where we were in July

Not sure why you are directly addressing HWT - pretty sure you are on that list, so he won't see your response!
If you keep proudly going on about how you put everyone on ignore and telling others to pull up their knickers and make him a cup of tea then you really ought to expect to get the proverbial taken.

Remind us what happened in 2010 when George Osbourne took the reigns?

Actually, I’ll do it for you.

Reminds me a bit of when Manchester United win against a top side actually. Social media and on the radio: “We’ve turned a corner, Manchester United are back! Proving all our doubters wrong, title challenge incoming, smug smug, etc etc” only to lose to Everton at home next week.

Let’s see where things are in a few months, it’s pretty pathetic stuff from supporters of both sides right now really.

Why is Yvette making an announcement at 2pm ? Could a full inquiry on the grooming gangs be incoming? I really hope so as just about everyone I know wants it whatever colour they are flying.
I can't think what else it could be, does anybody have any ideas?
