The ref pointed at his watch several times in the first half to indicate he was adding the time on but then the board went up with just 4 minutes added. Should have easily been 8-10. Their keeper had the trainer on (couple of mins there) plus they had two players go down from a corner. And the goal celebration was probably another two minutes as they know refs have been told this season to add on 30 seconds for goal celebrations and they won’t book half the team for having a little huddle while the other team are waiting to kick off.
It always goes unpunished. Nowhere near the time wasted added back on and nowhere near enough yellow cards dished out for it. If Rice plays like that every week he should have set some record for yellow cards in a season by now.
People moaned about the added time in the World Cup when we were regularly seeing 10+ minutes added half but with those Arsenal tactics it should be the case. Maybe they could increase the time as well so if a team wastes 2 minutes then they add on 4 because of it.
I was pretty sure that the yellow card for time-wasting was during injury time.
Taylor blew up bang on the added 4 minutes, so maybe I was mistaken.

Has he considered the possibility that by playing better his team might win more often?

Admitting being out-shithoused by a ten man ManUre isn't a good look, even for a Gerry Anderson puppet..

Time wasting by Man U.
Time is never wasted in football.
Play is interrupted.
Players need to be able to deal with it.
As RDZ said: 'f***ing focus!'

Favoured them so much he sent one of their players off?
Everyone knows that when a team goes down to ten men they pay better

The only thing he can blame is his players missing chances they created. More likely he'll blame the fact that it was decided by penalties which is so unfair as United's keeper was better than Raya so it was an unfair advantage🤣
ManUre won the toss to chose the end for penalties.
So presumably the captain, Rice, who made the call, is a rubbish tosser.
That must be the reason.

And awarded them a very dubious penalty. My dislike of Arsenal and their plasticky, entitled fans is second only to my dislike of Chelsea and their plasticky, entitled and obnoxious fans.
I've no particular love for Arsenal, but didn't see the penalty as at all dubious. I couldn't believe Shearer and Lineker defending Maguire's action. He was out of position and clumsily put both his arm and his leg across to block his man with no attempt to play the ball. Obvious foul. No VAR today, but if they'd reviewed, what would they say the ref had wrong? He did it. They can't overrule because he has a history of doing it, but usually gets away with it.

Same here. Sure, it's a soft penalty and Havertz went down far too easily but, in the modern game, how can you blame him? Maguire was clumsy (shocking, I know) and from the refs angle he put his arm across Havertz to stop him passing.

That said, I'm glad Arsenal are out. Old Lego head can go another season trophyless

He had a point, they should have won. Has anyone ever seen Amorim and Moyes in the same room? He has them playing like prime Everton/WHU. Way before they went down to 10 men. Their fans will put up with that if they’re winning.
