Surprised he turned up at all on Saturday - if I recall he doesn’t like playing in cold/wet weather.

Surprised anyone turned up at all on Saturday - if I recall no one likes playing or watching in cold/wet weather.

Coldest this season so far !!

Exactly this. Said the same to my gloating Arsenal STH mate when they signed him………he now knows 🤣
Said the same to an Arsenal supporting friend, to be fair he was totally underwhelmed by it and just saw him as a bench warmer.

I strongly believe the sight of Ali Mac coming back late, holding the trophy and getting feted by all and sundry, went down very badly with Trossard. He thought this World Cup was going to be his starring moment with Belgium winning the lot, and it went terribly wrong.

So I tend to forgive him his head state at the time.
To be fair to Belgium, their group contained two teams who made it to the semi-finals.

If we thought the English Golden Generation underachieved, it doesn’t come close to the level the Belgians did. Reminds me of the way the Netherlands used to f*** up with player infighting when they should have been winning things.

Teams with "Golden Generations" still have to deal with teams that always and permanently have "golden generations" like France, Italy, Spain etc...

The Belgians got a World Cup medal for their efforts which is more than most.

Eden Hazard & co - unlike Steven Gerrard or Dennis Bergkamp or Luis Figo or Luis Suarez - will be able to show his grandkids an actual World Cup medal.

Classic Tross just now in the Carabao semi. Gets shoulder barged off the ball and fairly tackled. Lands off the pitch. Screams. Rolls on to the pitch.

Big panda eyed baby.

I'm not sure this is evidence he's a dickhead. He is though
I agree. There is nothing wrong in not signing an extension, or being tough in negotiations, why should he just sign? Its up to him if he wants to negotiate a new contract or not. So, this doesn't make him a dickhead. If he continues to play and put the effort required in then its a perfectly reasonable way to conduct his business

What made him a dickhead at Brighton was the downing tools and the lack of effort put in at training, on the pitch etc. Has he changed his approach? Im guessing we will find out over the coming weeks

Why change a winning formula if you’ve always played for yourself (and your Dad) rather than for the fans? Some players have absolutely no care, affinity or respect for fans, he is one.
