If they win the SB would you change your name to Dave the Eagle? Would be fun seeing how many people who don't know you as a long term poster start abusing you as a Palace fan.
To be fair if they get past Green Bay, I will change my avatar to an eagle

Bears are interviewing Pete Carroll. Would like to see him getting another job but probably unlikely.

And now a few days after Pierce, Tom Telesco fired as Raiders GM.

Think he can feel slightly harshy done by. Even with our record, still don't think outside of QB he'd assembled an awful roster through free agency - defence was seriously impacted by injuries from early on in the season (Koonce out for the season before Week 1 and Wilkins after Week 5 the big losses). Had nothing less than a good draft in hitting on Bowers, Powers-Johnson and Glaze in the first three rounds.

Mostly likely Mark Davis, Tom Brady and the rest of the braintrust have decided we're more likely to attract one of the top HC candidates if we can match them up on the same timeline as a new GM. There is a worry with Brady involved there are more Patriots links involved in both roles, but would like to think Mark knows that the Belichick coaching tree and "Patriot Way" from the debacle that was the McDaniels/Ziegler tenure isn't the way to go.

Now seeing spurious chatter online (and being alluded to by some Raiders reporters) that Ben Johnson may want to bring his own GM in if he's going to take a HC job in this cycle, so this may be us pushing the boat out and showing him we're serious about hiring him.

In which case, if it pans out, I'm okay with the Telesco firing.

Such great teams at the moment - it's like sending Southampton, Leicester and Ipswich to the US.

I live in hope that the Broncos visit to Jets next season will be one of them. The last time the Broncos came to London to play the Jags, I was in Florida that weekend

Oof, I’ve got a lot of respect for what Pete did at Seattle, but the guy is way too old now. Time to spit out the gum and hang up the hat Pete.

Apparently Jags have now asked to interview Steve Spagnolo. They seem to be going a bit scatter gun in their search for a new HC, although maybe it's just trying to find someone / anyone willing to work with Baalke

Really disappointing, we’re going to get the Jets every year now as well as the Jags.
The good news is the away teams look more interesting…..

LA Chargers getting proper humped in Houston. As if they haven't suffered enough this week.

The LA Rams game vs the Vikings has been switched to Arizona. Quite amazing how the USA manage to control these logistics so swiftly. Imagine trying that over here at the drop of a hat, in a country half the size of Minnesota. When we postpone a game for 2 weeks if its a bit icy outside.

My Texans come up trumps with our D stopping the run and making Herbert throw the ball and turn it over.

Stroud got back to form, the ultra-reliable Mixon chewed up the clock on the ground and Stingley came up with some big Q4 interceptions.

Even with home advantage I wasn't confident at all going into today's game, but hoped we had one big game in us.

Another run to the last 8 for DeMeco Ryans. It hasn't been convincing over the season and we've suffered with injuries, but today it all came together.

And finally one of the craziest sequences of plays you're likely to see:

Sack / Sack / 86 yard TD pass (3rd & 26) / Blocked Chargers extra point that was returned by the Texans for 2 points. :)

Do you think Fabs is a Texan fan?

It was the Texans defense that won that game.

I hope so. Being Houston-born and young, I'd like to think that the Texans are all he's known, even though most of it hasn't been that great!

Yes, the defense needed to deliver for us to have a chance against a Chargers side that had scored 114 points in the last 3 regular season games.

Big performance by them.
