I loved ice hockey when Brighton Tigers were winning everything until the vandals in Brighton council destroyed the ice rink.

WWE. Thankfully never come across it. And I thought the Giant Haystacks stuff on World of Sport was sh1t.

I can only think of fox hunting, prize hunting, bullfighting and other senseless cruelty to animals who cannot consent to take part.

That's not a sport, its a business...... I would happily dump it though for me Basketball. loads of tall weirdos bouncing a ball backwards and forwards for no apparent reason.
I'm going to be a bit sweeping and just say American sport. That's Baseball, NFL Ice Hockey and Basketball.

Agreed on both fronts.
Horse racing does come under "sport" in the media, that's why I suggested it. It only exists for gambling though, so it's more like a casino.
Basketball would be second on my list too.

There are some really bizarre opinions in this thread though. Ice Hockey is an excellent sport.

Watched a fair amount, unwillingly, as it was popular at home. Loaded in favour of competitors who are immense at wrestling, holds, chokes or certain types of Ju Jitsu. Game over once they had hold. Boringly predictable in that key respect.
Millions of very unfit yanks and brits say it is.
Went once, I thought it was absolutely crap but can see why aficionados would get into it
