Deepest, darkest Sussex
Pedro was everywhere and seemed to relish the captaincy

Pedro MOM. Just. Wasn't sure making him captain was the right call but seemed to work out. An argument made by my mates son is that he turns up in the big games but not so much in the small. Baleba very good again.

Loved Veltman today. JP was superb. Ayari was superb in last 20. Too deep first half though. A few well off it first half

I thought it was Ayari he was very good does a lot of things that go unnoticed
I think you're right, which is why he gets a lot of grief from some. He's not a dominant, obviously noticeable CM like Baleba or Caicedo, more the one who plays alongside them and makes things tick over, like Wee Billy, or early days Mac Allister.
He's certainly surprised a lot of people this season - not least the fans of Coventry and Blackburn!

Given every player of the season has left the club that summer for bloody years can we please stop praising Baleba.

Along with those mentioned above, I though Rutter and Georginio had the most impact and changed the game after we were weak in the first half.

So, both of them can share it. 😎

Joao Pedro was good today, it does seem he relished the chance to have the armband. I know it's a bit of a 'ceremonial' thing these days but I bet it meant a lot to him. Good call from FH, I reckon. He's still a bit wasted playing as a 9 but needs must.

Van Hecke and Veltman get honourable mentions, Ayari, Georgi and Webster did really well in the last third, but yeah, definitely Baleba for me over 90. Let's not vote for him as PotS please 😐Already seen loads of shit from 'fans' of 'big 6' clubs on socials about how they should come in and take him from us for tuppence in the summer. Just give it to Milner or something.

Joao Pedro for me.
Played well and thought he did really well as captain. Liked him having a go at Pervis first half.
He had a go at everyone at some point. He eviscerated Gruda at one point tlfor holding onto the ball too long (deserved), and surprisingly dug into mitoma second half, for not pressing close enough behind him. (Edgy). To be fair to Mitoma he took it and moved up.

He annoys me sometimes Pedro but he really is a big game player. And he really does take responsibility.

Pedro for me. Took his captain role seriously and played like a leader.
