I’m out getting some steps in on this gorgeous sunny day. Lovely views …
That view would motivate any of us.
And it looked like the women’s team were coming out to train … lots of whooping going on … from the ladies, not me might I addThat view would motivate any of us.
Me too! (Almost)I was 96kg this time last year, got down to 86 , now back up to 90 .
I'd like to be under 85kg. 82 (13 stone) would be nice, but probably a step too far.
Scary number of calories in a big pizza - well over 1,000 for a full pizza. If you like Italian food far better to go for a pasta dish, but be wary of creamy sauces.Me too! (Almost)
After 9 days in Italy I have put on a kilo - my in-laws food is so effing good! Also, my sister in law owns a pizzeria - the pizza is way better than anything I have eaten in the UK. So that doesn’t help! I walk on the beach for about 90 mins a day, as well!
This morning I weigh 89.5kg. At the start of November I was 95.1, so still a long way under that. By the end of January (though I’m still here for another 5 days eating too much!) I want to be 85kg.
Like you, I weigh daily, as I find it acts as motivation to me. It gives me an idea of things that may not work, and those that do.I said I wouldn't post daily weight updates, but I am stull weighing myself daily and it's been a good start.
1.5lb down since Wed. I know (im told, at leaat) in the beginning some of this is easy water loss, but I'm taking the wins where I can.
I hope you're all getting going too.
I aim to try and lose 5kgs in January. I’m going to try and cut right down on the booze. At circa 200 calories per pint, that’s a big starter. Also aim to keep my food calorie intake to max 1100 per day, which is a 1000 calorie deficit per day compared to the 2100 per day recommended for someone my age with a sedentary lifestyle, that should achieve a 4000 calorie deficit (which is equivalent to 0.5kg weight loss) every 4 days. Add on a few sessions on the rowing machine at home (the roads are too icy most days) and this 3 pronged attack should do it.
I tend to agree with this. I believe the best way to lose weight, and keep it off, is to change your habits. Crash diets to get to an ideal weight won't change habits, and you're likely to yoyo.Just be a bit careful if you are restricting calorie intake to the point of a large calorie deficit at the same time as increasing activity. Getting the balance right can be tricky. If you are running a 1000 calorie deficit BEFORE the exercise is taken into account you may need to consider the size of the deficit .
