I still don't know what all the fuss is about. He just does not look that special for all the hype that always surrounded him. I want to really like him, I think we all do.

Had his chance, blew it.

Back to the ranks for you son, earn your way back in.

He actually played really well. Quality build up play and positive, dangerous attacks.

He did everything right apart from his final action. His finishing was poor.

Probably needs a decent run of games.
Agreed. No worse or better than anyone else and I'm always up for someone taking a shot on. Compared to some of the other witless faffing on display around the box today.

Sure, he made a couple of woeful passes and wild snap shots. He was also everywhere, getting involved in everything, sprinting to get on the end of crosses, must have run more than anyone on the pitch. Have to feel positive by his efforts tonight.

He needs some luck. I appreciated his efforts to try and score. Actually shot, which is an integral part in scoring. We actually really need an Enciso. I really want him to find some form as he’s our way out of this rut.

Maybe we can call Goodnight back from Leicester. I don’t rate him too much, but it’s an alternative and some depth more centrally.

I thought he was pretty much the only bright spark. At least he looked like he WANTED to score - unlike pretty much everyone else, who endlessly fanny-ed around.
We had many players shooting from 30-40m today just like people want.

So we scored some secret goals with witless faffing?
No there was no faffing. We were barely in their penalty box. Just endless pointless shots from range.

I think they came after the lack of penetrative faffing. Which is even more depressing, yet significantly more like my sex life.

Same opinion as at half time, appreciate the effort and that he got in some good positions but his finishing and decision making is woeful.

He really isn’t the answer some people think he is at the moment and isn’t a starter for me.

We’ve got three young attackers in Enciso, Ferguson and Adingra who are all lightweight at this level and could all do with being loaned out as they’re not currently good enough for where we’re at. They offer very, very little currently.

NSC - players don’t try hard enough. We need someone to take some shots outside the box
Enciso - hold my beer
NSC - Enciso tries to hard and needs to stop shooting

Players stopped making runs into the box after Encisos 8th attempt. There is no point in trying to get into goal scoring opportunities if everyone shoots on sight.

Anyway, had this discussion before and believing that shooting from range all the time is useful is simply unscientific.

You know what will help his decision making? Game time.

He's very young and had a long period out.

Give the guy a chance and a decent spell. Most players take a few games to get into the flow.

People seem to keep forgetting we take young talents, rough diamonds, and polish them up.

He's supposed to not be perfect and need a bit of polishing up guys...

He's not intelligent enough or makes enough right decisions to be a number 10. Until he matures he's a left winger.

I appreciated his effort and also Fab not taking him off earlier to give him enough chance to make something happen. The extra minutes will do his confidence good even though nothing happened for him in the end. Would have been easy to put Rutter on after 60.

Are we still talking about my sex life?

And I wasn't talking about shooting from range. I was talking about shooting.

Enciso’s blind ball out to the Lino did it for me.

A number 10 needs vision and that showed he has the technical ability of a Prem player but the vision of a pub team player.
