Not so high.

Im carrying a feeling our mid table position will be settled in six weeks or so and we might go months without much to play for. Its a bit demotivating.

Could quickly turn around though. Win the next two and all of a sudden things look f***ing fantastic again.

6. Sold my ticket through the exchange for Palace and Brentford as I am recovering from a hip replacement but otherwise would be there tomorrow.

Last season ITK posters blamed that on evil RDZ working players too hard in training and playing his favoured players when carrying niggles.

Rotten luck to have it under a new coach too.
Interesting that not training hard enough was eventually suggested as a reason for the injuries later last season, now training too much may be the problem, “injuries are us“ it seems

In my Albion time (Jan 76 onwards) just once have I seen a squad with readymade quality replacements to cater for all injuries and bans. 2016/17. Salad days.

If Dunk and/or Duffy were missing, we had Goldson and Hünemeier. Stephens and/or Kayal missing, Sidwell and Norwood were more than up to automatic promotion standard. Fullbacks, widemen and game-changers coming out of our ears.

Achieved through great generosity by TB.

These last two seasons if Veltman and/or Welbeck are out, it can be a significant blow before a ball is kicked.

A 6 for me. Mid table is fine by me. It's all well and good people thinking because we spent £200m in the summer we should be doing better but with so many new players to integrate plus a new inexperienced manager, what do people really expect?

It will take time for so many new faces to slot in, adjust to the managers style, and notwithstanding injuries, most of the new arrivals have never played at this level before. By these margins I think we are doing ok. Yes, a few dropped points here and there, but half way through the season we are where we are for a reason.

Next season I hope for more but up to now I feel we are slowly building ok.

As frustrated as most others at the various what-could-of-beens, but this is shaping up to be a fantastic Premier League season, almost Championship-like away from the top few and bottom few sides.

Beat Brentford tomorrow (yes, I’m well aware of the flaw in my cunning plan there) and the six sides 5th to 10th will be so, so close. Additionally two of the big clubs will be cut adrift in the bottom half.

If the Premier League is able to clinch another European place, as is a distinct possibility, then there’s so much to play for.

(Just don’t f*** up tomorrow please or I’ll need to revise that 7 (seven).)

I just don’t see us winning any match at the moment, will probably be another draw , , not really enjoying what I am seeing at the moment

Low.

We‘ve played poorly for weeks, our manager doesn’t fill me with confidence. That said we played marginally better in the second half against (an admittedly weak) West Ham.

yep. i’ll know we’re getting somewhere when we can control games for 90 mins again like we did in the late potter/early RDZ era (after a dodgy first few games). just cutting out the stupid sh** a la wolves and leicester would be a great start. going forward sometimes it feels like i’m watching 2008-11 Barcelona, defensively it feels like I’m watching an u12s game. and something seriously needs to be done about the injuries. the squad’s appalling fitness record is in serious danger of derailing our season once again

Erm wolves have scored 2 more than us. Spurs 12 more than us !! We are pretty much midtable in Goals scored, I'm not seeing what you're seeing. With fergie largely gash these days we don't even have a natural finisher in the squad at the moment.
