extremely high?
that kind of thinking is exactly what the terrorists want.
The threat is nowhere near as high as the reaction to isolated events.

Here is a table of deaths from all terrorism between 1970 - 2021 in the UK

The modern world allows each terrorist act to be amplified through social media.
The impact of a lone nutter driving through a crowd of people is a million times greater than it would have been 50 years ago.

Take away social media and the internet, and the world would be a much safer place.
It's a far bigger cause of threats to our security than Islamists.
Another one conveniently living in the past

Lee Rigby
Manchester O2 attack
Southport
Etc

Let's just call it extremely likely

A good day for the government to bury bad news on 20 January 2025

Southport Killer Trial due to start
The Labour MP who repeatedly hit the guy in the street due to start just before the inauguration

All on the same day of Frumps Inauguration, must be a coincidence

Perhaps you could take that graph back to the 1940s
Then we could include the Luftwaffe

What do you suggest they do?
The answer is the "elephant in the room".

"Round them all up, the Muslims, and send them to Rwanda."

Simples.

If you think this is all simple straightforward stuff you must have a simple straightforward solution.

Care to share it?

And the Bately School teacher and their family still in hiding after receiving death threats from the "community" for which no one has been arrested and never will be

Yes, I guessed that wrong... albeit pro-Hamas.....

Weird.
An atheist can be anti Jew, in fact, if it’s right that he followed the AfD, then it is highly likely. My enemy’s enemy is my friend.

Some posters are using an Islamophobic Far Right terrorist attack to spread more Islamophobia on NSC. Madness.
I think a lot of people were just shocked but there is a small group of people in this country who are secretly delighted when something like this happens as they think it proves their world view. Unfortunately, three of them sit in parliament.

Then why are you speculating without any facts before we knew anything at all?
I don’t believe I was, I was sharing what was being reported by the press. For example, Bild were reporting 11 dead.

Islamic terror is a very specific threat, and one which is a growing problem once again across Europe, following 9/11, the London bombings, Charlie Hebdo and the other attacks like this one in Germany and elsewhere. This is far from the first attack of its kind. It’s not the time or place to debate school shootings vs neo nazism et al, respectfully, it comes across as deflection of what is a truly heinous crime that has been committed tonight.

No comments. Just leaving it here for those allowed to discuss it.

I'm biting my tongue now to prevent myself from saying that its easy to get a very islamophobic world view when one muslim killing a priest is considered terrorism and killing 10 000 muslim childrens isn't. Oops. Well, bring it.

And a practicing psychiatrist. A psychologist once told me that psychiatry attracts all the nutters. But what would he know?

Trying to find a motive for acts like this is like trying to explain cats.

All the best, TB

In my computer
A thread that brings out the idiots on the south coast of england, in a completely unrelated country, on a fans football fans site, who seem to know the exact root cause here and the solutions...Mind boggling the depth of knowledge some people think they have of a person in a town nearly 1000km's away and how it fits into their perfectly puerile wider context.......
