Unter den beiden Getöteten sei auch ein kleines Kind, sagte Haseloff nach dem Vorfall vor Journalisten und könne weitere Todesfälle nicht ausschließen.

A young child is among two people killed, Haseloff told journalists after the incident, and he could not rule out further deaths.

Mate, as we get older we have to try to be resolute and circumspect.

We humans are a mad lot. We are creative, mad, unpredictable, and then we die.

If we can live a good life among all that, contribute to the greater good, or at lease raise a good family, or a good nexus of those we have influenced, that's the best we can do. And so be it.

Very true and wise words , one of the problems my badly wired head has is despising injustice - part reason I defend myself at the first sign of fire , unfortunately along with the good that can sometimes come of it is the obvious occasional clusterf**k , those close to me recognise the signs and like Scottish weather wait 5 minutes and the sun comes out along with any necessary repair work .

Totally agree re family , that is so important , i always think that when you get to our age bracket and your kids still give you a hug and a kiss and tell you they love you , then we got at least one thing right . But with all the best will in the world things like this wish you could do more somehow . Sorry for the winge H all the best and thanks (y)

Reported on the news there was an explosive device in the car the didn't detonate.

In this instance, I'm glad (feels wrong to say that) they've got him in case others are involved and they quickly round them up.

Appalling.

If that is the case i will go back and apologise , but he hasn`t pulled me on it so not sure
.never mind, maybe I was wrong.

I think the essence of the post was that the inevitable reactions will cause more division and round and round we go.

A cycle we eventually got away from with the IRA.

If there is any solution to all this (I'm not sure there is), then it has to come in part from those of that religion who don't think about blowing people up.

The issue is (and I've spoken to a number of Muslims) they fear that everyone else thinks they are a potential bomber.

Sorry, terrible events tonight. I was just reacting to the under current of some with the "elephant in the room", "we know what the problem is" comments.

Doesn't help.

How very sad just before Christmas. Tribes though: we’re all part of a, in the eyes of someone, whether we like it or not.

I agree we do go round and round getting nowhere except scoring cheap shots and points against each other when a joint effort might help get the message out that if nothing else we can agree on this and maybe even save a few lives .

It`s a shame that anyone might feel outside their community in times of tragedies because if ever there was a need for and a chance for all groups to tackle a problem together , i can`t think of a more important one , those poor children in that market could be from any background and no one cares which - they just care that they are children .

That was what i was saying , there`s no place for Left or Right in a conversation so tragic .

Sadly it's the world we live in now, everything recorded somewhere and posted
Yes. I understand that. But why would anyone choose to click on something that is footage of families including young children being slaughtered? f***ing weird, in my view.
