????

Rivals and all but they’ve been very decent. Solid at the back, bossed us in the middle with Will Hughes playing ffs. And clinical up front. Far far from the worst team to come here this season, they’ve done a number on us whether we like it or not
Had to be them that took our unbeaten home record ???

Lewis had a horrible day, I think he will be embarrassed with that performance! I think Igor should have kept his place a few games ago. He was doing well.
The one positive for me was the energy and trickery of Enciso when he came on.
Don't know what's wrong with Ferguson, literally zero effort like playing with 10 men

Absolute shite, not one player played well
I thought Enciso looked good when he came on, but that's about it.

Bart had no chance with the goals, Lamptey looks weak, JP was all over the place, Dunk is just a painfully slow shadow of his old self, Pervis was fine, Mitoma was fairly predictable, Rutter was totally anonymous, as was Pedro and Ayari and Baleba were overrun.

Everything with that display was poor. For someone we think might be worth 80 million Pedro was awful. What position was he playing?

It makes me sad seeing club legend struggle but dunk has looked miles off it. Gross like pace.

On a positive note - I still think we have enough to stay up!
Yes, we do - although I sense a little sarcasm in your comment - but we have fallen into the 'flatter to deceive' scenario, recently.
Why? No idea.
Is it Fab or the players - maybe a combination of both?
Our mojo has certainly deserted us, for no clear and obvious reason.
Today was awful...really awful, and not just because it was Palace.

Was good 4 games ago & previous. Desperately need (& needed) reinforcements though
Was it though? Verbuggen kept us in it at Newcastle, Bournemouth ran through our defence like it wasn't there. Tottenham should have been out of sight in their game. United we got lucky with their offside goal. Everton the 3-0 was down to how bad they were but still had golden opportunities.

First time I've left early in about 3 years. Just couldn't face seeing palace fans on the way out. Got off after the 3rd went in. Some thoughts.

Dunk and Hecke - significantly worse than with Igor there.

Lamptey. Just not a premier league football. It's honestly embarrassing. Like having a child playing. A goal and a mazy run once every 10 months does not make up for literally everything else.

Amazing how quickly they all turned into petulant kids. Too busy arguing with each other to sort themselves out.

How many of these turkeys spent half the match doing the 'geeing up the crowd' hands? It's beyond insulting. How about you just get on with your fùcking jobs?

Baleba deserves better. A monster again.

Absolutely crap defending and even more crap finishing.

We are conceding at an unsustainable rate and failing to finish.

The whole team is looking very top heavy at the moment - 3 at the back plus Lamptey whatever he is, is NOT working.

Confused what our game plans are - what our system is or if we even have one. Confused why we are overloading so many players into central attacking areas like sardines while leaving large areas of the MF empty and not stretching the defence of low blocking teams.

On top of the world
We lost that in the first half. Palace were quicker, stronger, and more organised. Once 2 down it was always going to be difficult against a team sitting deep. A goal back to 1-2 might have changed the outcome, but we never looked like scoring. The few times we created good chances, Henderson kept us out.

FH has a job to do now. Let's see if he can turn it around.

On the plus side it's nowhere near the level of anger/pain/frustration of the 5-0 or play off losses.

It's just a defeat to a mediocre team supported by a bunch of weapons grade bellends.

Beyond that the biggest issue is how we look as a team - our inability to defend and incohesiveness on the ball.
