Would you take a point now to guarantee avoiding the heartache that defeat will bring, or go for it: Death or Glory?

What I want - a total pasting, 3-0 up at half time, four more goals second half, a 7-0 spanking. Lovely. That's what our footballing superiority deserves.

What I expect - first half domination, but fail to score, players become increasingly anxious, fans losing their poop. Palace break away in the 93rd minute and slam one in off Lewis Dunk's backside. The unwashed behind the goal go (more) mental. We go home sad and defeated in the pouring rain. The trains don't work (again) and the car parks are gridlocked. Arrive home late to partners asking what the score was. Dreadful.

So yes, I'd happily take the draw.

You overlooked the post game one way system failing, but otherwise all likely to occur

A poor target ! We should at least expect the same as the BHA youth team achieved .... 10-0.

Since when did we become the Brighton side that went into Palarce games with the defeatist attitude we’d settle for a draw?

This is Palarce!

Geezus - I know our side loves to lose it’s bottle when we have a 2:0 pin cushion but let’s not lose ours before we even start - especially against our historic rivals.

Balls, people, big balls.

I think I probably would. They‘re playing quite well at the moment and we’ve become a bit of a soft touch, I can imagine the home crowd being very subdued and nervous which will also lift our opponents. Yes a point would probably be a decent result as it is, although I’d love all three.

Sorry.

We need to put a run of wins together to push us back to fifth / challenging fourth... nine points from Palace, West Ham, Brentford will do nicely

To be fair, our last game against Palace came mere DAYS after our 4-0 loss away at Luton, which in turn was preceded by two goalless draws in the league (plus two thrashings of gash sides in the Cup). Didn't do Palace any good!
