Justin Tucker not having a good day, itā€™s fair to say.

Not just a bad day, he's having a terrible season.

Tucker missed two field goals and an extra point during the Ravensā€™ five-point loss to the Eagles. It marked the first time in the five-time All-Proā€™s decorated career he missed three kicks in a single contest, and it represented another poor outing in 2024. Tuckerā€™s field goal accuracy now sits at 70.4% on the year, easily the lowest of his NFL tenure.

In place with Baltimore since 2012, Tucker has spent much of his career as one of the leagueā€™s top kickers. His resume includes a Super Bowl title, a spot on the 2010s All-Decade team, seven Pro Bowl nods and the all-time record for the longest made field goal in league history (a 66-yarder from 2021). At the start of the season, the 35-year-oldā€™s career accuracy mark of 90.2% was the highest in NFL history.

On multiple occasions in 2024, however, Tuckerā€™s misses have proven costly in close Ravens losses. Overall, he has gone only 9-for-17 on field goals beyond 40 yards while remaining perfect within that distance. The Texas productā€™s two missed extra points match the most he has had on that front in a single campaign. Baltimoreā€™s bye comes in Week 14, giving Tucker and the team time to reset before the final stretch of the campaign.

Don't know what's going on, maybe age has caught up with him though kickers can sometimes play on a high level to their forties. But tbf 99% kickers would already be out of the job with accuracy % he has this season. Not many enjoyed as much success as he had in the past though and I'm sure he'll bounce back next year or maybe even end of this season.

Third consecutive win for Seattle, another strong performance from defense and especially Leonard Williams (against his former team too) who should definitely get defensive POTW award. Already deserved one last week imo but maybe they shouldn't give it to him this week either if this will motivate him to play even better. :p

Arizona also lost in a tight game vs Minnesota and San Fran were blown out for the second consecutive week, this time against Buffalo. With that win the Bills already clinched the AFC East.

Only result that didn't go in our favor is the Rams winning in New Orleans.

The effort was led by Allen, who became the first quarterback in NFL history with a passing, rushing and receiving touchdown in a single game. Allen finished 13-of-17 passing for 148 yards and two touchdowns and had three rushes for 18 yards and the score.

500yds passing, 4 TDs, and we still come away with a defeat, thanks to 2 pick 6's. Browns being Browns.

Regardless of the loss though...this is 2 years running that journeymen veteran QBs have breathed life back into the Cleveland offense.

Do you think Haslam and Stefanski have twigged where the problem might lie yet....?

Yeah, I recorded it and got up early to watch it before posting on NSC work. Ok we lost, but I wasn't that disappointed as there wasn't anything riding on it for us. And yes, two pick-six's is bad, but four TD passes is good - and of course Winston isn't an arsehole, isn't costing us squillions of dollars and isn't eating up tons of cap space. Leaving aside those two aberrations I thought the offense did ok against the #1 defense. The o-line needs a bit of work in the offseason (as always), but we have a new hero in Jerry Jeudy. I bet the Broncos fans couldn't believe he was the same player. Makes a change from signing marquee players who turn out to be shit - yes OBJ it's you I'm talking about. (And Stefanski stopping calling the plays on offense might also be a factor).

And yes, let's hope the Haslams and Stefanski get the message - we don't need Watson next season. Take the hit and move on.

Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.

Let's hope the Ravens stick with him and he continues to miss vital kicks.

Sondra Williams, the wife of San Francisco 49ers left tackle Trent Williams, announced that the couple had a son, Trenton Jr., who was stillborn on Nov. 24.

Posting to her Instagram account over the weekend, Sondra Williams said Trenton Jr. was stillborn 35 weeks into her pregnancy, adding that the couple lost Trenton's twin earlier in her pregnancy.

"Thank God for allowing us to bond for 35 weeks and for me to birth you so I could hold you in my arms," Sondra Williams wrote. "I'm at peace knowing you will never have to suffer."

In the post, Sondra Williams said Trenton Jr. had been diagnosed with trisomy 13, also known as Patau syndrome. According to the National Institute of Health, trisomy 13 is "a type of chromosome disorder characterized by having three copies of chromosome 13 in cells of the body, instead of the usual two."

For all those suffering.

A total of 7 points separated the Bears from going 3-0 in their last three games and the reality of going 0-3 and losing 6 straight.

It was way overdue to sack the Bears coaching staff.

3 wins on the trot for the Bucs, NFC South playoff spot is going to go down to the wire. Chargers up next and there looking very good against the Bills currently.

Yet again the Chiefs scrape another win - this time with a field goal as time expires which goes in off the upright.

So many games this season they have won by a narrow margin - some could say lucky but maybe the Albion could learn a thing or two about game management from Andy Reid!
