[Albion] Leicester City vs Brighton & Hove Albion *** Official Match Thread ***

It's fine to vent frustration on here, as long as it's balanced when we're are doing well.
The we are xth in the table can only be called out so many times. Yeah it's looks good, we had terrible times (was part of that too), but it's OK to be p*ssed off that we've again thrown points away.
Terrible times are behind us, we look forward, its difficult as a fan not seeing us get over the line in these games. We know we are better than this.
That's on Fab today, going negative allowed the pressure, and that's something we can't deal with this season. We need to learn an approach to be more resilient and see out games. 🙏
Spot on.

When was the last time we strung two good halves together in the same game?
It feels like we have been a pretty poor side for about a year now. Or whenever RDZ decided to stop bothering.

Yes yes I know 7th, could be, should be 2nd blabla, but looks at the performances. Nowhere near the level of RDZs first season. Not even close. But I suppose that's when we had Ali Mac and Caicedo.

Silver lining: only 16 more points and we're safe from relegation. I'm old enough to remember when this was our primary aim for at least the first three seasons in the PL.

As for getting a metaphorical kick in the gonads, imagine being a Leicester fan - winning the league less than 10 years ago then a few seasons later getting relegated.

Funny old game.

I'm well pissed off with the late capitulation and result today. However, it is a sign of how far we've come that we have these high expectations.

However shite we may be, according to the table, there are still 12 or 13 teams who are worse than us.

Yes I do f***ing realise that. Livid as everyone else is, but to suggest Fab should go and how, we are so shit etc is nonsense.
Quite right. Compared to the equivalent fixtures last season, we are 13 points better off. Probably not European form until we sort out the silly mistakes but much better than the latter days under De Zerbi.

On NSC for over two decades...
Not bring Igor on in the first place. There was no need - our defence was doing fine till then, they had only had one shot on target, and precious few off target.
This. Never disturb the defensive shape or personnel late in the game unless there is an injury.

Perhaps forgiveable if we were really under the kosh, but that wasn't the case.

When we RUE the points we've dropped from winning positions, why do not also address all the points we've gained from losing ones?
