Times have moved on from their day. Players are no longer pawns of the manager. They need to be treated with respect.Clough and Fergie (and a lot of others) would beg to differ.

That`s exactly what i said we played on the halfway line all the first half , that is my point , and i have made that clear and stated that several times already on here . That is the whole point , NO team can win playing like that , BUT had we played as we had been playing prior to the Chelsea game at least two of those goals couldn`t have happened , plus we wouldn`t have given a dumb penalty away trying to get back to cover .Chelsea could easily have been 6 or 7 up at HT. We weren’t close to getting anything.
I didn't think I need to qualify that he hasn't played much as anyone who watches the games knows that . Sure it's early days but at the moment we are shipping points and we need to stop that and one way to do that is to ensure we play our best team and IMO Baleba and Ayari are better in the midfield space than a not up to speed O'RILEY... Ayari has come straight in and looked amazing from day one , I can't believe how he didn't get game time at Blackburn. Baleba also had a very short cushion of starts before he looked very good. I am not writing O'RILEY off at all but he is clearly finding it hard to fit in.Sorry to be patronising, but have a think about why this could be.
I swear NSC has absolutely no sense of context at times.
O'Riley needs game time. Ayari and Baleba now have lots of game time - you may not have been convinced by them before they had game time.
Conclusion: O'Riley needs more game time. If he's this good already, just wait until he has more game time under his belt.
