Commentator was excited. Seemed to ignore the fact he hit it.

I'm sure I haven't. My brain is a bit confused about it now though. I thought I may have seen Gough's hat trick in 1999 at the SCG, after a breakfast all nighter at some friends house. I then thought I may have seen Cork's against the Windies in 1995, but I was actually in France at the time- playing cricket ! For sure, it's my first this century.
I suspect Brook's returns will fall away at some point in his career when his eyes and reactions slow up. Or maybe he'll adjust to it and play in a less expansive way.Might do but my ability to stay awake is not up to much beyond 10.
While I've got you, would I be right in thinking that you haven't changed your views on Brook as a result of his two cracking innings? FWIW, I think you were wrong then and has the potential to outscore Root in his career (I doubt he will but it wouldn't surprise me) because he's such a destructive batsman. I wouldn't say the two large (some might say match-winning) innings in NZ ought to prompt a re-evaluation: it was all there already and, despite the runs, he more than rode his luck.
Unfortunately I saw Siddle’s hat trick live at Brisbane in 2010, even though Broad leathered the one that was given LBW for the hat trick.
Both of his were at home. And I didn't work from home then. So I would miss a lot of time in matches (that and having an other half who hated the game). I'm more likely to see one abroad.Did you turn off when Broad played?

Depends how many people I'm with.Right everyone here, if you were going in fancy dress, what would be your outfit?
Question of the day on commentary.
I'm going as a sloth.
I was thinking after that. Probably a Dickensian character. Fagin or the Artful DodgerRight everyone here, if you were going in fancy dress, what would be your outfit?

This is obviously entirely theoretical.

Right here right now, I'd quite like to be in fancy dress as something covered in blubber to keep warm.Of course. I feel my outfit would be somewhat wasted as I sit in front of the computer. Although it would still be appropriate.
Perhaps. They probably wouldn't be wrong either. I think Englishness is under-rated. I do wear a large fedora when I go out. Maybe I should go as Edward VIII.Would anyone know you're in fancy dress, or would they just think you were a standard eccentric Englishman?

Maybe a sperm whale. Coolest of all the whales. Fact.
I can't decide whether he is an Estate Agent or running a bears night at the Bulldog. Perhaps both. When Duckett meets people and they ask him what he does for a living, and he tells them he's a sportsman, none of them believe him.
