FB is looking a much better player than Julio right now and far more of a team player. Personally I’ll be surprised if Encisco is a Brighton player this time next season. Just don’t see him ever being a player that fits FH’s expectations .
I would have Facu over Julio at the moment. A year ago it would have been the opposite, but young players develop at different rates and while Enciso hasn't really pushed on since injury.

But he is still very young, so we shall wait and see.

Enciso’s attitude may improve with the January arrival of his friend and countryman, Diego Gomez. (though I am not convinced he has a bad attitude- just internet rumours)

On the flip side, Gomez is yet another competitor for playing time. I think Enciso would have benefited enormously from a loan- like FB has… it’s an abundance of riches upfront!

Not really….
See Ben White….

I understand what you’re saying though, and of course regular football, in great form….. what’s not to like?

Re - Gilmour, wasn’t a big loss IMO…. Perhaps a few million less than I would have expected though….
Agree Gilmour was sold too cheaply (though no one gazumped Roma) but we haven't missed him because Ayari has been brilliant. I think there is a place for FB in the team when we need a bit of guile....

i will tell you why... because Julio is twice the player FB is. So we kept him.
We have so many quality No 10s its ridiculous, FB had to go on loan.

Even if FB scores 10 goals this season will he come back and start for us ?..... I doubt it.

Over Rutter or Pedro or Julio as a 10.... not for me clive.
Not sure that Julio is currently twice the player FB is and what happens next will depend on how Enciso reacts. A big fan of both but FB ha certainly taken his chance well also think he is more of a team player. Don't get me wrong Enciso has (had) that something but the spark is dimming.

Enciso hasn't been the same since his injury has he. So long out and hasn't played much overall since. I also worry about Solly over such a long time out when he gets back?

I’m beginning to doubt that we’ll ever see March back. Enciso was only out of competitive action for about 6 months and has time on his side. March has been out for 14 months (and counting) and is 30.
