Brighton factually.....

Ukraine says its energy infrastructure is under 'massive' Russian attack

"Ukrainian officials have been warning for some time that Russia has been stockpiling cruise and ballistic missiles in order to mount coordinated attacks on power infrastructure throughout the winter"

The Russians are aiming to freeze the Ukrainian public into submission this winter, and then go in hard in the spring.
This phase is critical to the Ukraine considering we know not which way Trump will blow.

You could be forgiven for thinking that Putin wants to pound Ukraine as much as he possibly can before he is reined in by the damn peace talks.

This does not augur well for a secure and lasting peace.

I think Germany is itching to get hands on. Seen a few rumblings from them recently.

I saw they have re opened bunkers, something wicked this way comes.

I don't think Ukraine can fight the war with its arms tied. It should do likewise to Russian infrastructure.

Good piece by Snyder. The first few minutes gives the gist 👍🏼.
The last paragraph is an excellent summary of the West's pitiful stand & cowardice.

"Precisely because Ukrainians have made matters easy for us, we can take their sacrifice and their suffering for granted. Ukrainian resistance creates the world in which we can listen to our own fears rather than attend to strategic realities. Their courage enables us to choose cowardice. But imposing our hysteria on the courageous people who make us safe is the most dangerous thing we can do. Nobody in their right mind wants a third world war. So let's not bring it about by abandoning the people who are holding it back."

Vindman, who helped to stop Trump and Putin stealing the 2020 election, is threatened with execution by Musk.
It's going to get very, very bad after 20th January.
The USA seems to be heading into a very bad place.

They had a revolution to get rid of the English King.

Soon they will have King Donald I, above the law, with Musk in the Sheriff of Nottingham role. Both bear terrible grudges and have a thirst for revenge.

Would you lend money to Russia? I wouldn't. Well, all right. Would Russia's 'friends' then? North Korea? Iran? China?
No? So Russia can now only raise cash from inside Russia.

TLDR - no credit rating + low income + high interest rates + off-book loans + no foreign bank will lend Russia money = an impending debt crisis.

The presentation skills could be better, but he makes some good points.
