I watched that yesterday, and my thoughts were, I am pleased he left. (I know I have the benefit of hindsight)

But I believe that, "Just a Brighton coach" was in part the reason why we never really kicked on while he was here.

When RDZ came in with his "why not Brighton" attuite helped give the players, fans and club the belief that we could reach Europe and I think Fabian has the same attitude.

The majority of our players that have left recently have gone to teams in the top six, so what stops our players getting us in to the top six. I am sure mentality has a lot do with it.

Despite my general dislike of him, I don't actually think he is saying thats what he thought. I thought he was saying thats what people thought of him as if being a "brighton coach" wasn't anything to write home about.
I think it was his "history" comment after a few people boo out of frustration of not being able win another game that we dominated, when we had not been winning at home for months.

The only one who thought Graham Potter was ‘just’ a Brighton coach and if he wanted an ‘easy life’ then he ‘would have stayed at Brighton’, was Graham Potter.

T@sser.

The King. Probably a good watch when or if I get arsed to watch it.

As for the quote used to make Graham look like an evil guy who sees Brighton as a plucky club, it is as usual taken out of context and deliberately misinterpreted. Those who can read (between isn't needed) the lines understand that "just a Brighton coach" is how we was perceived, not a comment on the smallness of the club (which was however the favorite subject of his successor).

Rate him as a coach, don’t like him as a human. Cannot bear Jake Humphrey. Can’t think of a more irritating lineup for a podcast. NO THANK YOU BOZZA.

Is there a transcript available? I don't think I could put up with the sucking of air through teeth and Jake Humphries in general.

In his defense, he's sharing what other people may think of him.. however when you consider his ‘easy life’ comment it does help colour the general attitude he had towards us.

He *may* in years to come, show some humility at the enormous opportunity he had here. It's not a coincidence that every coach we've had since Potter has done well, given the incredible set up we have. I have no doubt, that when he looks back on his career, he'll have managed bigger clubs than us, but he'll never have had the same success.. and there's a good reason for that.

In the meantime, I feel absolutely no need to watch the chin-rubbing-teeth-sucking-geography-teacher bleat on about the "emotional intelligence" he so clearly lacks. Tosser.

I think it's mostly because we don't have 20 top 6 players at the same time

I've never encountered anyone who so readily puts the Tosser into Tosser with such assured regularity.

I live in hope that one day I'll go along to a really shitty corporate training day and discover he's doing the motivational speaker circuit.... You know, so I can BOO loudly from the back of the room.

I'm half expecting an irksome biography to appear soon too, he'll be in 'that' roll neck on the cover, looking quizzical.... with some 'witty' title like 'It's Been Emotional' ... On sale at the Works within three months.

He is obviously keen to get a job putting himself in front of any camera that will listen. Basically should have done what present manager did. Dont care how many players you have bought but i refuse to deal with 40 plus players. These are the ones i want and you can do what you want with the rest.
