Unfortunately with all the inflationary moves so far, ie increasing wages, increasing employment costs, interest rates are probably more likely to rise sooner rather than later.

You are also suggesting that 50% of NSC are Tory fan boys, not sure the pre election polls on here would back that up.

I don't think they can fail in the eyes of some on here. Everything negative that happens will be because of Brexit not Labour policies. There could be a worldwide fuel crisis pushing petrol & diesel up to £3 a litre but still it will be Brexit. Or another lockdown due to a pandemic costing the economy hundreds of billions but still it will be Brexit. So far Labour have been even worse then I expected. Usual tax & spend & politics of envy. Not that the last lot were any better. Just glad I'm old so I won't be around in a few years. This country is going downhill so fast. At least I moved out of London I guess. Things are a lot better in the small towns and villages but probably not for long.

I think no, unfortunately, for two reasons really. Firstly because a Labour government is held to a higher standard than a Tory one so the steady drip feed of negative press will turn sentiment against them quickly, and secondly turning around the country from the absolute mess of Tory governance will take longer than the electorate will have patience for so they'll have be deemed to have failed before there's really been an opportunity to make a tangible difference. Also, until we rejoin the EU all any government will be able to do is play around the edges and hope for conditions that make things less worse than they could be rather than actually objectively any better.
