I recall a few years back getting a train back from Victoria and sitting opposite some dickhead in a cheap suit with ankle swingers and no socks having a “senior leadership team call” on loud speaker, despite having a pair of headphones more expensive than the suit that we’re working a few mins before. It was totally unnecessary for the carriage to listen to this, it was probably equally unnecessary for me (opposite) to tell Richard on the other end of the line that no one in the carriage cared about his new mandate structure. He was equally surprised that he was on speaker phone as well

I'll regularly sit on my own in a coffee shop while my wife is shopping, and browse my iPad, or watch some sport - always with no sound. Any place that somehow thought that was a problem to anyone, can get f***ed.
