Safe Standing is such a stupid name. Just call it Standing. It’s 2024. We all know what it means. Nowhere has Dangerous Standing as an alternative.
If the vote for standing is 'No' I wonder if they'll do that? After all it IS the rule/law/regulation, and if it's a 'No' vote they could say, "Well the fans have spoken, they don't want official standing, so you troublemakers sit down or else."...
Personally think the only need for it at Brighton is a) they start to enforce a non-standing in seated area policy ...
Very much this, I want to vote yes, but the bloke in front of us must be 6’4” at least and is a real pain in the arse when he stands up during an exciting phase of a match. It’d be a nightmare trying to watch the game with him stood in front of us all game.It ok until you get some huge tall fucker in front of you, in the terrace days you could move and get a better view.
My rationale for voting yes, otherwise unbothered provided we're allowed to continue standingIf the vote for standing is 'No' I wonder if they'll do that? Grounds that have retro fitted the rail as haven’t increased capacity. Old Trafford, Stamford Bridge and Wolves Come to mind, the seats are the same, just with bars fitted either to the existing frame of the seats, or just behind them like at Brentford. Then they are not doing it as per normal installation. There would be smaller plastic seats with metal bars in front and behind and this will increase the capacity.
I've changed my vote though. I don't want rid of my comfy seat and have a cold metal bar in front with less room even though I stand the whole game.
It is shit at away games when they have crappy plastic seats.
I'm 6'5 and don't go in the north stand for this reason, you have to stand for long periods and I feel totally self conscious of blocking the view of the person behind. The North Stand is so shallow, it needs to be steeper if it's going to be all standing. It ok until you get some huge tall fucker in front of you, in the terrace days you could move and get a better view.
Listen PBOBE tries his best but he is a busy man and he doesn’t have time to write every email he sends out correctlyBecause it reads like it was written by a 6-year old, rather than a corporate communication from a multi-million pound business.
To busy talking shite on TS?Listen PBOBE tries his best but he is a busy man and he doesn’t have time to write every email he sends out correctly
That is an option in the survey, and I have ticked that box. It’s a shame as we have a good crowd around us.If you don't wish or are unable to stand for long periods, I assume the club will offer alternative seat. And vice versa
IT'S ABOUT 85% IN THE NORTHThe whole of the Norff is standing anyway isn't it?
