But I don't think he'll take much or any from the elite, as he needs their support to stay in power (I imagine).New taxes, a 'war' tax, confiscation of wealth, property etc. The list is endless.

Unfortunately there are many Russians living in the Baltic states (Ukraine too no doubt). Who knows where their loyalties lie and what they might get up to. Probably absorbs significant resource keeping tabs on them.Lithuania should do the same for Russia trying to set them up as the fall guy.
