I’ve just worked out that I have averaged £86 per month winnings over the last 15 months since I invested the maximum. Not a particularly good return😢
My mum and dad always had a pretty good return so I feel I should leave them in ‘just in case’!

Would people recommend Premium bonds as a good, safe way to save/invest?
As long as you are prepared to be patient and not looking for an instant return yes. Obviously the larger the pot you can have buys you more bonds. You may win big, you may not. You might get something each month you may not. Bit like a lottery but you can never lose your money.

£225 for me this month - much appreciated spending money for imminent weekend in Krakow :)

Drew a blank for December

May - £50
June - £100
July - £125
August - £50
September - £50
October - £125
November - £0
December - £0

On course for an annual return of 5% based on £15k if current trend continues

£150 this month, but nothing last month , on 30k holding. Quick question, even if a PB wins a prize, does that same bond go back into the following draws, meaning the same bond number could win again?

Brighton factually.....
After reading this thread, and looking for ways to tuck away some of the money our daughter has as investments, I told the wife stick some in Ernie. Maximum invested and first draw, diddle squat, hmmmm I hope over the year she gets lucky.

started off the year with £3000 invested and ended with £12000 invested. I have won £300 in total which came from 4 out of 12 months.

I only started winning when my investment reached 9k, as an FYI to anyone planning on investing.

Another £100 for me today. £9,000 holding. That's £425 for the year with an average holding of £7,500 over the year.
