But at least you know they’re there! That's me when a student foolishly talks during one of my lectures.

Just literally about to post this. f***ing disgraceful. I would have defo made comments, you can tell they are plastic from a mille away. Not a single one looks like the cliche BHA fan. ****s.View attachment 191777From the Argus fan gallery if anybody was wondering what about half the away end looked like yesterday. Our support has never been elite but yesterday was a new low. It needs sorting out.

Think the guy in the beige cap is looking sufficiently disappointed with the half and half-carrying twats to be genuine. Bet he’s on here tooJust literally about to post this. f***ing disgraceful. Back in the day the spur of the moment away games have always proved to be some of the best ever supporting the Albion. I’m not ashamed to say I can’t be arsed with point collecting and booking weeks in advance or some little hitler demanding ID. Football used to be anonymous no one cared who you were an escape from real life for a day.The moment I saw all the half and half plastics my enthusiasm for the game dropped massively. I won't be the only one to have felt subdued in this way. I still sung my heart out but I can understand others not bothering as much.
The situation to me is quite simple. We are not a big club and that's fine. Anfield is a decent distance away and expensive to get to. We shouldn't be selling it out after 7 seasons in the prem or whatever it is. We should have taken about 1800 yesterday and been loud because our supporters were unified and together.
What actually happened was the 1800 or whatever went but were joined by plastic Southern "scousers" with membership or tourists who bought touted tickets. They dilute our actual support to the point a good atmosphere is impossible. 100 loyal fans can make a racket but 100 loyal supporters mixed up amongst 100 plastics can't.
And they’re not all white — or JapaneseYou mean, they don't appear to be over 60 years old?

lots of players had friends and family there on Saturday. Of course i understand the Club will give an allocation to them but the atmosphere was terrible and it was like being surrounded by corporate hospitality and day trippers.View attachment 191777From the Argus fan gallery if anybody was wondering what about half the away end looked like yesterday. My kids go to more away games than I do these days and they said the difference between Newcastle and Liverpool was really noticeable. That's harsh on our support: going back many years (way before the Amex was built) we've had very good away support - we've always taken reletively very good numbers even when down in League 1 and 2 (in new money) across the country and always made very good noise. Miss those away days quite a lot when I think back.
What needs sorting out is how the tickets are allocated and the 1901 debacle it seems, and only for the games against the likes of Liverpool (or only Liverpool- I've never noticed issues like at Liverpool on Saturday anywhere else?). I mean just the other week we took well over 2k proper fans to Newcastle

Isn’t that Joel Veltman’s wife ?View attachment 191777From the Argus fan gallery if anybody was wondering what about half the away end looked like yesterday. Our support has never been elite but yesterday was a new low. It needs sorting out.
Are they “plastic fans”, Liverpool fans or, more likely imho, friends and family of players and/or club sponsors? Liverpool is a hugely popular fixture , I’d say the most popular one we have, it stands to reason that it will be in demand from players friends and family and sponsors. I’ve sat behind player’s family myself at Anfield before.Just literally about to post this. f***ing disgraceful. I would have defo made comments, you can tell they are plastic from a mille away. I think one of them is Mrs Veltman. Be careful , she might also be useful at dark arts.Just literally about to post this. f***ing disgraceful. I would have defo made comments, you can tell they are plastic from a mille away. Not a single one looks like the cliche BHA fan. ****s.
I remember him.I recall at away games in the early 90s there was an Everton fan who went away with the Albion, originally from Liverpool, but moved down as a child, he was alright actually.
I was on that train. Got a seat eventually but away from my mates and opposite a middle aged, middle class Dutch couple in brand new Liverpool scarves who spent the journey reading and drinking coffee. Further down a lot of people on their own in this season’s home Liverpool kit. Obviously easier to get singles if you want the home end.The 18:43 back from liverpool was rammed with 95% Southern Liverpool fans.
I booked my ticket well in advance but couldn't reserve a seat for the return journey. (£114 return)
Ended up standing between carriages with about 20 others.
Talking to a Brighton fan, whose mate was Liverpool - seemed to be respectful enough and wasn't wearing any colours.
Another young bloke (liverpool) talking about spending £250 - £400 for Liverpool tickets (in the home ends)
3 others around me I recognised from the game and they turned out to be Liverpool fans - but weren't noticeably so during the game
I eventually had enough of standing at Milton Keynes. The train had been delayed and was like a sauna by that point.
Picked up the next train to Euston and it was 90% empty.
Best decision of the day.
Then they aren't proper BHA fans then haha who the f*** supports two teams? One thing having a soft spot, but that's just wrong.
That's a completely ridiculous comparison. So in your opinion I`m not a proper Fan.
Supported Brighton for 60 years through thick and thin but also support Lewes.
