The boy and I like to add to the atmosphere at away matches by singing, cheering, encouraging etc so support most comments on this thread but the end of the day, it’s a football match and people when purchasing a ticket are under no obligation to do anything, they could sit with a pair of headphones and a blindfold on if they so desire and if they are not in breach of the law or any ground regulations sod all can/will be ever done about.
I’m a keen gig goer and believe bands deserve our respect, the phones are one thing but more and more now constant talking drowns out
quieter or new or little known tracks, again apart
from telling them individually to shut the f*** up there’s little that can be done (although I have witnessed artists stop singing and comment something along the lines of “sorry am I disturbing your conversation?”
