Losing count of the never ending war crimes

I knew of the death of the journos, but the use of info to actually target them is beyond the pale (sp). The War Crimes Commission/The Hague, whatever the correct authority is called, need to start action against perpetrators on all sides ASAP. I think a lot of possible criminals on the Hamas side will already be dead, but an awful lot of Israel officials/military would start looking over their shoulders.

Not the first time they've intentionally bombed journalists or aid workers despite having knowledge of their path of travel. They previously killed 7 aid workers by bombing their convoy multiple times despite the movements being co-ordinated with Israel beforehand.

You have to wonder why their tactic of killing Arab/Palestinian journos, combined with denying access to other journos, has not been called out? Oh, silly me, they have the Yanks backing them, and therefore the UK too.

Escalation this evening in the ME

  • Israel launch measured retaliatory strikes on Iran Saturday evening (US notified in advance) targeting missile factories mainly
  • Gaza ‘hammered’ by Israeli strikes - Northern Gazans given order to evacuate with hours and ‘last functioning hospital’ targeted to ‘put it out of action’ according to the pro-Palestinian news website, uk based Middle East Eye
  • Iran likely holding off retaliation until after US election but says there was ‘limited’ damage
  • Israel launched missile strikes on Syria yesterday with explosions reported in Damascus - the Syrian airforce shot down a number of them

LIVE: Israel’s three-week siege of northern Gaza kills at least 1,000

But not 'news' according to the BBC, Sky News etc...
I noticed the headlines yesterday (even on the Guardian) were highlighting ONE person killed in Israel bus incident. Someone out there doing their best to steer a narrative (albeit an almost impossible task given the sheer scale of Israeli atrocities).

Brighton factually.....
Absolutely disgusting, Israel is committing in plain sight of the “West“ genocide clear & simple.
This has never been about saving hostages, i seriously think the certain members of the Israeli government knew the attack by Hamas was being planned (they were warned by foreign agencies) let it play out as a pretext for occupying Gaza and murdering over 40,000 people.
Now this, one can only assume they want the complete either annihilation or displacement of the Palestinian people.

I wish people would stop using the word genocide in relation to this conflict. If that was the genuine intent of Israel then Gaza would have been levelled months ago without having to commit ground troops.

Why would they care? They don't seem at all bothered about anyone's opinion about the terrible things that they are doing*.

* Hamas started it by doing a terrible thing, and continue to do terrible things.

Yes, of the cumulative effects over a sustained period of time. Coventry and Dresden were levelled much more efficiently.
People keep commenting how civilians and infrastructure faired worse in earlier conflicts, and they are correct.

But since then what is acceptable has changed, or should have changed, modern warfare. The setting up of the United Nations, the creation of the Geneva Convention, Unless one side in a conflict actually is in danger of being wiped out (therefore not Israel) then the indiscriminate, repeated killing of civilians being passed off as collateral damage is no longer acceptable.

Sorry - but anyone NOT using the word genocide, doesn’t understand the word genocide.

Okay, I suppose you could argue that Israel are aiming to commit genocide of the group called Hamas, but people on this thread aren't being that specific.

Agreed, it is absolutely unacceptable. Israel and Hamas should ceasefire immediately and agree to stop lobbing rockets at each other.

Nor am I. And more importantly, nor are Israel.

The IDF and Israeli politicians are on record, multiple times, repeating their belief that every Palestinian is complicit.

I’ll help you out, btw:
