And you are a mod ffs. Asked a simple question on a thread, got abused by you because you jumped to conclusions. Then asking me about Muslims in an attempt to draw me in. One would say classic far left tactics. I have sent a message to Bozza.
I wouldn’t say GB’s response to you constituted ‘abuse’ by even the stretchiest stretch of the imagination.

I didn’t understand the connection initially tbh - it seemed like a clumsy reference to me but he was simply challenging the assumption ( held unfortunately not just by the far right but by a large majority of the hard right of centre in this Country) - that conflates Islam with ‘terrorism’.

I would suggest you read Section 7 and how it is used - it is a primary tool the Police use to give them to power to discover evidence - the subject does not even have to be under suspicion of being engaged in terrorism just that he may be in possession of information that could secure the conviction of terrorists.

You then need to ask why anyone would not want to assist the police in such an inquiry? And anti-terrorism legislation certainly does not just apply to those suspected of Islamic fundamentalism.

‘Extreme Right-Wing Terrorism (ERWT) describes those involved in Extreme Right-Wing activity who use violence in furtherance of their ideology. These ideologies can be broadly characterised as Cultural Nationalism, White Nationalism and White Supremacism.’

Primary sources for you:

Anyway - I can see my posts have little gravitas in a media format that thrives on the excitement of bunfights and binfests so I’ll bail out while I can 😉

Although it is general accepted that Ernst Rohm ( the one time leader of the Sturmabteilung ) was Gay . Referring to persons who identify the same as "nonce's" might these days be considered somewhat controversial .

Is there a danger that almost turning Yaxley-Lennon into a political martyr will build his 'brand'?

*Apparently the moniker "Tommy Robinson" was an 'initial' alias adopted by a number of the senior Luton Town hooligans when they were arrested in the 1980's and 90's.

Don't really know the validity of the story because back then as is now giving the rozzers a false name is an offence in itself, peverting the course of justice

I don’t think so Ian, no. He isn’t winning hearts and minds with his message. Those who agree with his ideology will look to him as the leader of the cause by default, because he’s the most well-known person with any “status” sharing their political philosophy.

Outside of the far right extremist circles, he’s deeply unpopular - and people have heard what he’s offering. Same as Nick Griffin. They just don’t want it.

As Tony Millard used to say, "great news for level headed people everywhere"

He's deeply unpopular inside many too. His "tactical" mistake was to go down the conspiracy theory route.

This is a book ‘written’ by the original, and real Tommy Robinson.

Also,

Tommy Robinson
Ex-MIG member, Tommy Robinson, has written two books about his experiences with the firm:

MIG Crew is about the MIGs firm. Its foreword is by Britain's most notorious prisoner, Charles Bronson.
MIG Down charts his 25 years in football violence.
The ex-English Defence League leader, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, took on the hooligan's name "due to the influence of a poisonous uncle I had, who were jealous of Tommy his whole life. And it was his influence telling me, when I was using different names (they included Mikey and Wayne King – "it sounds like wanking, when you say it. Victoria Derbyshire introduced me, ‘now we have Wayne King’, and I was cracking up” Robinson explained). He was like, ‘use Tommy Robinson, use Tommy Robinson, it will get all the heat on him’."
