McLaren have requested a "Right of Review" of the Norris penalty from Austin. The initial part of the review will be considering if Mclaren have been able to provide new evidence that wasn't available to the stewards before the decision was made. The only thing I can think of here might be if the stewards hadn't seen Verstappen's telemetry traces (which have been seen post-race and clearly show Verstappen massively lifting off the brakes to enable him to get to the apex first, but in the process forcing Norris off track).

Williams will have a revised livery (not seen definitively if this is Mexico only or longer) with a massive dose of yellow added. Looks like they're activating some sponsorship opportunities that have arrived with Colapinto:

Very much hoping for a good race here. One tv available and the race clashes with my Bears in the NFL, also on Sky. Going with F1 for now, fingers crossed for excitement.*

*also I’m recording the Bears on catch up….

Verstappen is dangerous at times. Today is one of those times.

Thing is, he'll still finish 5th at worst if not 4th, and he'll have ruined Lando's chance at 25 points, 15 at best for him now he's out of the slipstream / no attack potential. Job done from his and red bulls perspective.

Also Sergio might just start the next race from pole if you only get a 5 second penalty for jumping about 5 places at the start

Yep, another undeserved title in the bag

Yeah this fastest lap nonsense has to stop.

Perez last lol
He should have just got out and walked it to milk the crowd TBH, given Lawson’s performances since returning I doubt he’ll be back next season

Enough interesting stuff going on in the pack to make this very much worth watching. The driver’s championship is almost certainly Max’s. Constructor’s looking like a down to the wire three way fight.

Two way fight.

I know Perez has given up caring, but equally Red Bull don't care. This gives them an advantage into 2026 if they finish 3rd.

If they brake zone spam Max into winning the title whilst also somehow finishing 3rd in the constructors, I genuinely think they win the longer game into the new regulations.

Same reason Sauber have given up caring and Audi aren't worried

You can say many things, saying this title is underserved is not one of them.

Look at his performances compared to Perez this season, he's absolutely driven the wheels off that car.

He's been a prick the last two races, but he's in the third best car (at best) and defending the title lead so he's doing everything he can to win that title.

It's an extremely deserved title.

Sainz being in a Williams next season whilst Perez is in the Red Bull feels extremely unfair.
