To clarify our new stupid ticket system.

It looks like I can buy guest tickets - however they have to be allocated to someone in my friends and family group . Is this correct ?
So these people are already registered as Albion members and have already paid up to be one ? Again is this correct ?

So if I want to take my wife it's not possible unless I pay for her to be a member ?

This is all ticketeeboo when we are playing Liverpool and 5th in the Prem. However we need new people to experience the AMEX without having to pay a fortune .

I am sure this has been said a zillion times but it needs saying again and again until it's free to register - maybe it is free to register ? I doubt it though .

It's backfire one day Im sure .

When you slag me off for writing this please be gentle !

You seem to have made more than a few assumptions here

1.They don't have to be in your friends and family list
2.No payment is required as guests don't need to be myalbion + member.
3. You don't need to pay for your wife to be a member
4.It is free to register

All they need to do is create a new ticketing account requires setting up a MyAlbion Digital account, and then making sure it is linked to the ticketing site to generate a new fan number. All MyAlbion Digital accounts must have unique email addresses.

Pretty sure that once they’ve registered (FOR FREE) they do need to be on the STH F&F list so they can allocate the ticket to them

I thought guest tickets for cup games could be given to anyone as they are issued with the purchasers name on them?

It's for league games where the PL (not the club) require each ticket to be allocated to a named registered person.

And yes, registration is free. No need to pay for Albion+

Think they’ve changed it this season for guest tickets. It’s a ball ache and annoying - much like most of the club’s ticketing rules…

It does seem that it is hardly worth having a season ticket. If you have one it`s a drag if you can`t go and there are always tickets for sale even for the top games a few days before the game.

but is it really? takes a few mins to register on the site, doesnt cost anything . It isnt difficult, or time consuming . It helps stop touting, and away fans in home end, and complies with the law-for league matches. Why is any of that an issue?

What ticketing rules that arent legal requirements actually cause you real problems?

Passing a ticket to a mate - it’s not illegal at all - that’s just what they try to say - worked fine before. The match by match prices are extortionate. There’s so many hurdles to get round if you want to bring someone else - forcing people to pay for membership. Re-selling tickets that are already sold at match day prices and adults only. There’s loads. We get most things right but like most clubs, not ticketing.

but thats all wrong isnt it- you dont need to pay for membership, its free, match day tickets are more expensive than season tickets=well duh thats the whole reason people buy season tickets-, there are literally no hurdles unless you invent them yourself. Season tickets are cheaper than match day tickets BECAUSE you commit to attending all the matches.

what you really mean is you want the cheaper prices without compiling with the conditions .

It’s always been illegal - just because it worked fine before doesn’t mean it wasn’t illegal.
