Igor hasn't impressed me massively. He did an alright job at the weekend.

But I've watched enough football over the years to have seen plenty of fringe players have remarkable breakthrough performances. New coach, new season, new team mates new playing style. Whatever it is, there's a chance he might come to something. I'm pessimistic about Webby and JPVH being available soon, so Igor will get the chance to have a run in the side in his preferred position against some very strong opponents.

By the next international break, I think we can draw some pretty certain conclusions about Igor. I don't see how anyone can now

The enforced introduction of Igor and the halftime switch to estupiñan did give us a good balance of left footers and while estupiñan is the greater part of increasing our threat on that flank Igor was definitely part of it.
Kadioglu is not quite in synch with the defensive unit or PL pace and physicality but he does seem quite a natural replacement for Veltman at RB. Still a combination for the future but having Hinshelwood as a CM who can play RB and Kadioglu as a RB who can play CM may offer some opposition confusing fluidity.

Kadioglu sees himself as a left back

Did well yesterday.

I like the new Wild Igor. The random mid circle stepover against Spurs and yesterday turning away some Newcastle player with some slick movements for no real reason but the good looks of it. I like the flair. Enigmatic.

I think the kind of game yesterday suits him well. Just being a big guy who wins duels in the box and provide relief with some ball carrying. Not too much running or thinking or marking.

I gave him the nickname Alibigor because of the complete and utter nothing he brings on the pitch - he's not even bad enough to be a scapegoat or laughing stock. He just... is.

But now his career is taking a new turn, where he just... isn't.

Anyone heard any recent comments or rumours about him? Seen a photo of him anywhere near the team?

This could be a bigger U-turn than the mods letting you back on here!

This made me chuckle. Must be easy to play in the Premier League if you don't have to do much of these things!
