Love the commentator putting that Igor effort down as (I quote) “a great chance!”
West Ham at home last season springs to mind...losing 3-1 somehow.Possession is over rated how many times have we been done at home having 80% possession and a billion shots.
People saying we are lucky. They have had as many good chances as we have. They just had more possession and more half chances.
I think he'll actually cheer if Newcastle manage a goal. It's really irritating.Jocko McBitterCunt thinks it’s an assault and 10 year prison sentence whenever one of their players go down. Bloody hate commentators that can’t hold their bias.
I’ll shut up about it now but f***ing hell
Thanks anywayDeleted - beaten to the snip
Igor needs to hold the line better. He’s always worried about his pace so drops a few yards like he did when isak should have scored. What are the chances we can keep a clean sheet second half?
sssshhhhhhh, don’t, just don’t tempt itWhat are the chances we can keep a clean sheet second half?
I concur with this. Ferguson just standing around watching the game go past him. Has done NOTHING. Like playing with 10 men.Terrible first half.. or was it? We probably don't deserve to be leading... or do we?
Newcastle dominated most of the half, at least until the goal. We were sitting back, absorbing pressure, almost inviting them to attack to get them on the break, which we did on the first attempt.
We clearly adapted to the flavour of the game. Although it nearly backfired as they should have scored.
Verbruggen having a very good game - it's so nice having a keeper that can make quality saves.
Ferguson, sadly, has been ineffectual and anonymous. Would like to see him subbed for an impactful player, but I suspect he'll be on for a little longer.
Rutter has skillz. Great assist. He does some sexy flair actions on the ball which is fun to see.
Baleba looking good, again. Welbeck having the season of his life - I just KNEW he'd score.
The goal has put a spring in our step and Newcastle have their tails between their legs. Let's hope we can capitalise on that in the 2nd half.
