I can't remember us ever being in the situation of being so far second best but having the lead. I've seen it plenty of times against us but when was the last time we were battered but scored from our only chance?
I'm liking the fact that we look at least half way defensively competent for a change and that most of our goal kicks are going long. I'd very much like us to have more of the ball and to look better with it in the second half.
But overall I'm just a bit flummoxed by that first half. The least Brighton performance I've seen in a number of years.

Igor needs to hold the line better. He’s always worried about his pace so drops a few yards like he did when isak should have scored.

I'm quite enjoying this defensive display, it's a complete change of approach and couldn't be anything like Newcastle have been set up to play today. We've got some tidy combinations to come in off the bench later.
